Viernes 10 de febrero
El campeonato por los títulos británico y de la Commonwealth del peso gallo sin dueño terminó con Sean McGoldrick coronado como nuevo campeón con una merecida victoria sobre Scott Allan. Respecto al campeonato de Inglaterra por el vacante cetro del peso ligero, Hamed Ghaz y Reece Mould ofrecieron una estupenda batalla en la que ambos fueron estremecidos. En la restante velada emitida por YouTube, el peso superpluma estadounidense George “El Yuyu” Acosta se llevó un susto inicial en forma de un knockdown a manos de Marlin “So Icey” Sims, pero se levantó de la lona y se hizo con la victoria por KOT en el tercer round. -El campeón de Francia del peso superwélter Mathis Lourenco 11(6KO)-4(1)-3 volvió a vencer a Mahmoud Taha 10(4KO)-10(7)-3 en la revancha, en esta ocasión por KOT en el segundo asalto.
-El peso semipesado estadounidense Richard Rivera 23(17KO)-1 logró su segundo triunfo consecutivo batiendo esta vez al brasileño Isaac Rodrigues 28(22KO)-4(4) por amplísima decisión unánime (100-90, 99-91 y 98-92).
Sábado 11 de febrero
En el campeonato mundial WBC del peso superpluma, el mexicano Rey Vargas fue controlado técnica y tácticamente por el estadounidense O’Shaquie Foster, que se proclamó nuevo monarca mundial. Crónica del combate siguiendo el enlace.
En el encuentro coestelar, el peso wélter Mario Barrios cumplió los pronósticos y fue claramente superior a Jovanie Santiago, al que derrotó por KOT en el octavo asalto para regresar a la senda del triunfo. Crónica del combate siguiendo el enlace.
La cartelera principal de este evento de PBC se inició con un combate del peso pesado en el que Viktor Faust se estaba imponiendo a los puntos a Lenier Peró antes de que este último lograse el triunfo por KOT al dañarle en una acción aislada. Crónica del combate siguiendo el enlace.

Pasando a la velada de Boxxer, el destacado prospecto Adam Azim volvió a dar muestra de su calidad ante Santos Reyes, si bien no pudo hacerse con el knockout y también evidenció algunas preocupantes brechas. En la cartelera principal también se incluyeron un triunfo del peso crucero Viddal Riley por KOT en el cuarto round sobre Anees Taj, una defensa exitosa del campeón inglés del peso medio Tyler Denny ante el imbatido Brad Pauls, y una fácil victoria de Caroline Dubois sobre Feriche Mashaury por KOT en el tercer asalto. Por lo que se refiere al decisivo encuentro del peso supermosca entre KJ Cataraja 16(13KO)-0 y Edward “El Heneral” Heno 15(5KO)-2-6, el primero supo estar a la altura en esta prueba de fuego y venció por clara decisión unánime y puntuaciones de 118-110, 117-111 y 116-112. De ese modo, Cataraja, a la vez que demostró una vez más su potencial y se coronó campeón OPBF, se acercó todavía más a una eliminatoria final.
Terminando el artículo, el sábado también se produjeron estos otros resultados:
-El peso supergallo Florian Montels 24(5KO)-3-2 no logró su objetivo de coronarse campeón de la Unión Europea, sino que el título vacante fue conquistado por el belga-armenio Geram Eloyan 9(7KO)-4 a través de una decisión dividida (112-116, 113-115 y 115-113) como visitante
-El peso gallo puertorriqueño Emmanuel “Salserito” Rodríguez 13(7KO)-0 pasó su prueba ante el estadounidense Sharone Carter 13(3KO)-6(1), a quien derrotó por decisión unánime (doble 78-74 y un 77-75). Seguramente Rodríguez pronto empezará a afrontar algunos tests a diez rounds.
-El campeonato de Polonia por el vacante título del peso pesado terminó con un triunfo en el primero asalto de Kacper Meyna 10(6KO)-1 sobre Jakub Sosinski 8(3KO)-2(1)-1, por lo que a partir de ahora el primero recibirá más apoyo promocional en su avance.
-El pegador del peso crucero Ryan “The Bruiser” Rozicki 17(16KO)-1 acabó en solo tres asaltos con el letón Arturs Gorlovs 10(8KO)-3(1)-1, que nunca había perdido antes del límite, de modo que parece listo para encarar una pelea significativa ante un rival con aspiraciones internacionales.
-El peso ligero español Antonio Collado 9(1KO)-0 se hizo con la mayor victoria de su carrera hasta la fecha venciendo por decisión mayoritaria (78-74, 78-75 y 76-76) al duro Ricardo Fernández 12(0KO)-8, por lo que ahora probablemente se asentará ya en los duelos a ocho asaltos.
-El campeón de Sudamérica del peso superpluma Walter Matías “El Distinto” Leiva 11(1KO)-3-1 retuvo su corona con un triunfo por decisión unánime (triple 98-92) ante Lucas Matías Montesino 9(7KO)-5(1)-1, llevando a seis su racha de triunfos.

Mexican bantamweight Alejandro González scored a convincing unanimous decision victory against fellow countryman Brayan Rivera, whom he beat with a good performance. Read more following the link.

Friday, February 10
The vacant British and Commonwealth bantamweight titles were captured by Sean McGoldrick with a deserved victory over Scott Allan. Although McGoldrick’s win was clear, the final verdict was a majority decision. Article and official video of the fight following the link.
Regarding the English championship for the vacant lightweight title, Hamed Ghaz and Reece Mould offered a great battle in which both were rocked. However, Mould adjusted better and ended up taking the victory and the belt. Article and official video of the fight following the link.
In the remaining evening broadcast on YouTube, American super featherweight George “El Yuyu” Acosta was knocked down in the first round at the hands of Marlin “So Icey” Sims, but he got up from the canvas and scored a third-round TKO. Article and official video of the fight following the link.

In the WBC world super featherweight championship, Mexican Rey Vargas was technically and tactically controlled by American O’Shaquie Foster, who became new world titlist. Read more following the link.
In the co-main event, welterweight Mario Barrios, as expected, was clearly superior to Jovanie Santiago, whom he defeated by TKO in the eighth round to return to the winning ways. Read more following the link.
The main card of this PBC event began with a heavyweight bout in which Viktor Faust was beating Lenier Peró on points before the latter achieved a TKO victory by hurtting him in an isolated action. Read more following the link.
In the preliminary support, Claudio Marrero, Eumir Marcial and David Whitmire beat by stoppage Gonzalo Fuenzalida, Ricardo Villalba and Keith Foreman respectively, while Dainier Peró defeated Daniel Zavala on points. Video of these fights following the link.
Moving on to Boxxer’s evening, prospect Adam Azim once again proved his qualities against Santos Reyes, although he was unable to get the knockout and also showed some worrying flaws. Regarding the decisive super flyweight match between KJ Cataraja 16(13KO)-0 and Edward «El Heneral» Heno 15(5KO)-2-6, the former rose to the challenge in this decisive test and won by clear unanimous decision. The scores were 118-110, 117-111 and 116-112. In this way, Cataraja once again demonstrated his potential, was crowned OPBF champion and got even closer to a final eliminator.

-Cruiserweight puncher Ryan “The Bruiser” Rozicki 17(16KO)-1 beat in just three rounds Latvian Arturs Gorlovs 10(8KO)-3(1)-1, who had never lost by stoppage, so he seems ready to face a significant fight against an opponent with international aspirations.
-Spanish lightweight Antonio Collado 9(1KO)-0 achieved the biggest victory of his career to date defeating by majority decision (78-74, 78-75 and 76-76) the tough Ricardo Fernández 12(0KO)-8, so now he will probably settle in eight round bouts.
-South American super featherweight champion Walter Matías “El Distinto” Leiva 11(1KO)-3-1 retained his crown with a unanimous decision victory (triple 98-92) over Lucas Matías Montesino 9(7KO)-5(1 )-1. Now, Leiva Is in a six-fight winning streak.
