El jueves Golden Boy Promotions ofrecerá por DAZN y YouTube otra de sus veladas menores desde el Fantasy Springs Casino de Indio, Estados Unidos. En el combate estelar, el olímpico mexicano Raúl Curiel 12(10KO)-0 intentará impresionar y continuar su racha de knockouts enfrentándose a Courtney Pennington 17(7KO)-6(2)-3, boxeador con experiencia pero que ha perdido claramente todos sus combates importantes.
Por otro lado, en el Casino de Montreal, Canadá, el prospecto del peso ligero Lucas Bahdi 14(12KO)-0 disputará su segundo combate del año midiéndose al mexicano Eliot Chávez 11(6KO)-5(3)-1, que ha padecido sus últimas tres derrotas ante púgiles como William Zepeda, Harlem Eubank y Bekman Soilybayev.

El mayor evento del viernes será una macrovelada rusa de RCC Boxing desde el Traktor Sport Palace de Chelyabinsk. En ella participarán múltiples púgiles destacados de la compañía: el peso ligero Zaur Abdullaev 17(10KO)-1(1) buscará continuar su gran racha ante el imbatido Roman Andreev 25(17KO)-0; el prospecto del peso ligero Vildan Minasov 11(7KO)-1 afrontará su mayor test ante el siempre competente René Alvarado 33(23KO)-13(1); los destacados prospectos del peso superligero Ivan Kozlovsky 8(4KO)-0 y Khariton Agrba 11(7KO)-0 se subirán al ring, respectivamente, ante Isa Chaniev 15(7KO)-4(1)-1 y Alexander Durán 21(7KO)-1, etc.
También el viernes, en el Lac Leamy Casino de Gatineau, Canadá, uno de los contendientes más interesantes del peso supermedio actual como el pegador Christian Mbilli 24(20KO)-0 buscará hacer una declaración de intenciones y comparar su rendimiento al de Demetrius Andrade enfrentándose a su último oponente, el estadounidense Demond Nicholson 26(22KO)-5(2)-1. En el mismo evento, el 15º WBC del peso superligero Steve Claggett 35(25KO)-7(1)-2 tratará de mejorar su posicionamiento combatiendo por un título menor contra el mexicano Carlos “Tiburón” Sánchez 24(19KO)-1(1), que hasta el año pasado era considerado bastante prometedor.

En un sábado inusualmente falto de peleas de relieve, y sin ningún gran combate, sólo se pueden mencionar estos enfrentamientos:
-En el Arena Sonora de Hermosillo, México, emitido por Tv Azteca, se desarrollará un evento en el que los invictos David Moreno 15(9KO)-0-1, Carlos López 18(7KO)-0-3 e Irvin Turrubiartes 25(15KO)-0-1 continuarán trabajando en sus desarrollos midiéndose, respectivamente, a Dubiel Sánchez 20(15KO)-1(1)-2, Nazario Castro 11(6KO)-2-1 y Kevin Villanueva 21(15KO)-4(3)-3.
-En el Eatons Hill Hotel de Eatons Hill, Australia, el invicto peso crucero local Floyd Masson 13(7KO)-0 afrontará una prueba de fuego a sus aspiraciones internacionales contra Yves Ngabu 21(15KO)-2(1), que llega de perder controvertidamente como visitante contra el oro olímpico Evgeny Tishchenko.

Finalmente, antes de terminar, también se puede destacar que el domingo, en el Arena de La Paz, México, se producirá un muy interesante enfrentamiento de boxeo femenino entre dos excampeonas mundiales como Kenia Enríquez 26(11KO)-1 e Ibeth Zamora 33(13KO)-7, quienes deberían ofrecer un entretenido choque de estilos. En él estará en juego el cinturón interino WBC del peso mosca, lo que en teoría debería darle a la ganadora el acceso a una pelea por título mundial.
En el respaldo, el prospecto del peso superwélter Isaac Lucero 13(9KO)-0 disputará su sexto combate consecutivo pactado a diez rounds pugnando contra Eduardo Rodríguez 11(5KO)-3(1)-1. El año pasado, Rodríguez llegó a la última campana en una pelea contra el invicto, miembro de la escuadra de Matchroom Boxing, Reshat Mati.
