Thursday, June 1
Like so many other Thursdays, the Montreal Casino in Montreal, Canada, will be the venue for an Eye of the Tiger Management card broadcast through ESPN+. This time, the featured local boxer will be super middleweight Erik Bazinyan 29(21KO)-0, WBA, WBC and WBO number 2 who, after two unconvincing performances against Marcelo Cóceres and Alantez Fox, will try to regain momentum fighting Mexican José de Jesús Macías 28(14KO)-11(1)-4. In his last bout against a Canadian, Macias knocked out Steven Butler. After that, he fought to a draw in Germany. However, he is coming off a clear loss to the highly skilled Pavel Silyagin.

As for the co-main event, Steve Claggett 34(24KO)-7(1)-2, who is on a five-fight win streak, will seek to access one of the super lightweight lists fighting for a minor title against former Puerto Rican super featherweight world champion Alberto Machado 23(19KO)-3(3), who has gone from bad to worse in his recent career, stringing losses against Andrew Cancio before his setback against Ángel Fierro.

On the other hand, at the Base Club in Moscow, Russia, there will be an interesting clash between two undefeated lightweights with international amateur experience such as local Artur Subkhankulov 5(4KO)-0 and Kazakh Ablaikhan Khussainov 12(9KO)-0. In the support, Russian super lightweight prospect Emir Basirov 8(7KO)-0 will battle against Venezuelan Esneiker Correa 15(13KO)-3(1)-1, who is coming off a loss but in his previous visit to Russia scored an upset TKO win.

Friday, June 2
As for Friday’s biggest event, this will be organized by MarvNation Promotions and will feature a huge step up for young American super featherweight prospect Jonathan Lopez 10(7KO)-0. After facing easy fights, López will directly battle Mexican former world title challenger Eduardo Báez 21(7KO)-4(1)-2, a tough, strong and experienced boxer who has faced fighters such as Emanuel Navarrete or Ra’eese Aleem and who should pose a serious challenge for the undefeated.
Also at the event, up-and-coming super flyweight Adelaida “La Cobra” Ruiz 13(7KO)-0-1 will look to defeat former bantamweight champion María Cecilia Román 17(0KO)-7-1, while super welterweight prospect Fernando Vargas 8(8KO)-0 will score a new knockout against Mexican Ramsés Agatón 22(12KO)-14(8)-3.

These other fights will also take place on Friday:
-At the Hala Sportowa, in Zukowo, Poland, PolSat Sport will televise a heavyweight bout between Kacper Meyna 10(6KO)-1 and Krzysztof Twardowski 10(7KO)-4(1).
-At the Park Inn Hotel in Northampton, United Kingdom, theoretically broadcast on YouTube, Ben Vaughn 5(0KO)-0 and Shaun Cooper 13(0KO)-5(3) will fight for the vacant Midlands Area super lightweight belt.

Saturday, June 3
The only world championship of the week will be the one featuring undisputed middleweight champion Claressa Shields 13(2KO)-0, who after Hanna Gabriels’ positive test will face the substitute Maricela Cornejo 16(6KO)-5. The challenger has lost all her important fights and has a technical level infinitely lower than that of the number 1 pound for pound Shields. So, not even having a puncher’s chance, if Cornejo were to win it would be perhaps the biggest upset in the history of women’s boxing.
Regarding the undercard of this DAZN event, apart from several fights for prospects (some better matched than others), a bout for Ardreal Holmes Jr. 13(5KO)-0 stands out. This unbeaten super welterweight, who has just scored the biggest win of his career in a ShoBox evening, will try to build on that victory and make comparisons facing Wendy Toussaint 14(6KO)-1(1), who has only been defeated by standout contender Charles Conwell.

On the other hand, in the Universum gym in Hamburg, Germany, there will be an evening broadcast on YouTube. The card has undergone several changes and at this point there is a lot of confusion about which fights are still standing. In theory, Croatian Olympian Luka Plantić 5(4KO)-0, Belarusian Olympian Dzmitry Asanau 6(2KO)-0 and Cuban Olympian José Larduet 9(7KO)-0 will participate in the bill, although they will be overwhelming favorites to win their bouts. Plantić will fight at super middleweight against Yusuf Kanguel 22(15KO)-5(2)-1, Asanau will fight at lightweight against Cristian Ávila 18(14KO)-8(6)-1 and Larduet will fight at heavyweight against Ali Kiydin 16(15KO)-2(2).

These other fights will also take place on Saturday:
-At the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan, Japanese super featherweight Katsuya Yasuda 10(7KO)-1 will try to break into the WBO ranking fighting for a minor title against undefeated Thai prospect Apichet Petchmanee 15(5KO)-0.
-At the Stadthalle in Eberbach, Germany, cruiserweight Edin Puhalo 22(21KO)-1(1), former WBO eliminator participant, will try to score the biggest win of his career against veteran, former French national champion, Siril Makiadi 14(6KO)-2(2)-2.
-In the city of Katy Wroclawskie, Poland, veteran former world heavyweight challenger Mariusz Wach 36(19KO)-9(4) will try to return to winning ways against Jakub Sosinski 8(3KO)-2(1)-1.
-In Orebro, Sweden, local heavyweight Pezhman Seifkhani 14(11KO)-1(1) will seek to get revenge after the upset defeat he suffered last March against Awadh Tamim 16(11KO)-5(4).
