Este jueves Golden Boy Promtions ofrecerá una de sus veladas menores a través de YouTube y DAZN desde el Fantasy Springs Casino de Indio, Estados Unidos. Dado que dicha promotora ya ofrece de por sí eventos baratos y de escaso interés en sus eventos estándar, en sus carteles menores la cosa va a peor, y en esta ocasión sólo se podrá destacar un único combate.
En él el excampeón mundial puertorriqueño del peso minimosca Ángel “Tito” Acosta 23(22KO)-3(2) buscará su segundo triunfo desde que fue vencido por KOT a manos de Junto Nakatani enfrentándose al venezolano Angelino Córdova 17(12KO)-0-1, boxeador que viene de anotarse un triunfo totalmente contra pronóstico en Estados Unidos sobre el dos veces retador mundial Axel Aragón pero con un veredicto muy controvertido.
Viernes 7 de abril
En cuanto al viernes, el único evento destacado es el que se producirá en el Cache Creek Casino de Brooks, Estados Unidos, televisado por Showtime como parte de su serie de eventos ShoBox: The New Generation. En el combate estelar, el prospecto del peso superligero Shinard Bunch 20(16KO)-1-1 afrontará uno de sus tres mayores tests como profesional enfrentándose al invicto mexicano Bryan Flores 23(13KO)-0-1, que debería servir para medir cuál es su nivel y a qué velocidad puede intentar acercarse a la parte alta.
En el respaldo, el imbatido peso superwélter estadounidense Jahyae Brown 13(9KO)-0 disputará su primer combate pactado a diez rounds y un paso adelante en aumento de dificultad midiéndose al argentino Guido Emmanuel Schramm 15(9KO)-1-1 y el local Robert Terry 9(3KO)-0 y el dominicano Raúl García 12(10KO)-0 se enfrentarán en un choque de invictos también en la división del peso superwélter.
Por lo demás, en este flojo viernes sólo se puede hacer mención de estos otros combates:
-En el Emerald Queen Casino de Tacoma, Estados Unidos, el irregular peso pluma mexicano Ángel Antonio Contreras 13(7KO)-5(2)-2, que anotó un empate ante el prospecto Jalan Walker, se enfrentará al competente colombiano Brandon Valdés 14(7KO)-3(1), que en su pelea más reciente perdió por mínima diferencia como visitante ante el prospecto Jordan White.
-En el Stadttheater Bern de Berna, Suiza, el peso superpluma dominicano Angelo Pena 6(4KO)-0 disputará su mayor reto hasta la fecha ante el joven mexicano Edgar Espinosa 7(6KO)-4, un púgil con varios tropiezos pero con más experiencia útil y que en todos sus combates ha plantado cara.
Sábado 8 de abril
El sábado tendrá ni menos que cuatro veladas destacadas, siendo la que se producirá primero la organizada por Teiken Promotions, emitida por ESPN+ y encabezada por el mundial WBA-WBC del peso minimosca Kenshiro Teraji vs. Anthony Olascuaga. En el respaldo, entre otros combates, Takuma Inoue y Liborio Solís pugnarán en un mundial WBA del peso gallo y Reiya Abe y Kiko Martínez combatirán en una eliminatoria IBF del peso pluma. Otro evento que contará con dos campeonatos mundiales será el organizado por Matchroom Boxing y emitido por DAZN, puesto que Jesse Rodríguez y Cristian González se enfrentarán por el vacante cinturón mundial WBO del peso mosca y el monarca WBA-IBF del peso supergallo Murodjon Akhmadaliev expondrá sus coronas ante Marlon Tapales. Por otro lado, también en Estados Unidos, en concreto en una velada de Top Rank y ESPN, el campeón mundial en dos divisiones Shakur Stevenson afrontará una eliminatoria WBC del peso ligero ante el pegador Shuichiro Yoshino. En el respaldo principal, el muy prometedor peso pesado Jared Anderson se medirá al invicto George Arias y el plata olímpico, y peso ligero, Keyshawn Davis se verá las caras con el exretador mundial Anthony Yigit. Finalmente, a la misma hora coincidirá otra cartelera más en Estados Unidos, en este caso de PBC y Showtime. En ella el aspirante obligatorio WBC del peso superwélter Sebastián Fundora se enfrentará a Brian Mendoza, mientras que en el respaldo el peso superligero Brandun Lee pugnará contra Pedro Campa y el peso pluma Luis Núñez combatirá contra Christian Olivo. Al margen de dichos enfrentamientos, sólo se puede hacer mención de estos otros:
-En el Gimnasio Municipal Enrique Mosconi de Cutral Có, Argentina, TyC Sports televisará un campeonato de Argentina del peso superligero en el que el titular Claudio Gabriel Daneff 18(8KO)-2(1)-1 se enfrentará en una revancha a Axel Emanuel Isla 7(1KO)-2, al que en noviembre sólo pudo vencer por decisión dividida. Además, el campeón sudamericano del peso wélter Leandro Ariel Fonseca 15(7KO)-1-1 expondrá su título ante Christian Nicolás Andino 17(2KO)-6(1)-2.
-En el Embassy Suites de Albuquerque, Estados Unidos, el prospecto del peso mosca Abraham R. Pérez 6(2KO)-0 afrontará un duro test contra el filipino Jeronil Borres 12(6KO)-7(3)-2, que ha ofrecido tres buenas actuaciones contra invictos en Estados Unidos.

Golden Boy Promotions will offer one of its lesser events through YouTube and DAZN from the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, United States. Given that said company already offers cheap and uninteresting cards in its standard events, things are getting worse in his Thursday evenings, and on this occasion it will only be possible to highlight a single fight.
In it, former Puerto Rican world light flyweight champion Ángel “Tito” Acosta 23(22KO)-3(2) will seek his second victory (since he was defeated by TKO at the hands of Junto Nakatani) facing Venezuelan Angelino Córdova 17(12KO)-0-1, a boxer who comes from scoring an upset in the United States over the two-time world title challenger Axel Aragón, although with a highly controversial verdict.

As for Friday, the only outstanding event is the one that will take place at the Cache Creek Casino in Brooks, United States, televised by Showtime as part of its series ShoBox: The New Generation. In the undercard, undefeated American super welterweight Jahyae Brown 13(9KO)-0 will have his first ten-rounder, and a step up in competition, clashing against Argentinian Guido Emmanuel Schramm 15(9KO)-1-1 and local Robert Terry 9(3KO)-0 and Dominican Raúl García 12(10KO)-0 will meet in an clash of unbeaten also in the super welterweight division.

-At the Stadttheater Bern in Bern, Switzerland, Dominican super featherweight Angelo Pena 6(4KO)-0 will face his biggest challenge to date against the young Mexican Edgar Espinosa 7(6KO)-4, a fighter with defeats but with more useful experience than him and that in all of his fights has given a good account of himself.
Saturday, April 8
Saturday will have four featured evenings, the one organized by Teiken Promotions, and broadcast by ESPN+, beginning first. This card will be headlined by the WBA-WBC world light flyweight championship Kenshiro Teraji vs. Anthony Olascuaga. In the support, among other fights, Takuma Inoue and Liborio Solís will clash in a WBA world bantamweight championship and Reiya Abe and Kiko Martínez will battle in an IBF featherweight eliminator.
