Desde el SK Arena de San Petersburgo, Rusia, Match Tv y Boets emitirán una velada en la que el púgil de gran carrera amateur Alexey Mazur 8(5KO)-0 disputará un combate de desarrollo ante el experimentado y correoso argentino Carlos Daniel “El Zorrito” Córdoba 16(4KO)-9(2), que llega de anotarse un triunfo contra pronóstico como visitante. En el mismo cartel que este choque del peso ligero, el exclasificado mundial del peso pesado Sergey Kuzmin 18(13KO)-2 afrontará un rodaje contra el mexicano Germán García 8(8KO)-5(2).
Por otro lado, en el Korakuen Hall de Tokio, Japón, el veterano exretador mundial Akihiro Kondo 36(21KO)-11(1)-2 intentará sumar su segundo triunfo del año enfrentándose en el peso superligero al joven mexicano José Manuel García 16(15KO)-1-1.

Pasando al viernes, el evento más destacado será el organizado por Wasserman Boxing desde el Meadowbank Sports Centre de Edimburgo, Reino Unido, y televisado por Channel 5. En él se subirán al ring boxeadores como los invictos prospectos Sultan Zaurbek, Lee McGregor o Harlem Eubank, además de Isaac Lowe.
El peso pluma kazajo Zaurbek 14(10KO)-0 buscará continuar su sólido avance y lograr su primer triunfo sobre un invicto peleando contra el español John Carter 15(7KO)-0-1; el peso supergallo McGregor 12(9KO)-0-1 afrontará su combate más exigente desde su empate ante Diego Ruiz pugnando contra el joven mexicano Erick Robles 13(9KO)-1(1); el peso superligero Eubank 17(6KO)-0 combatirá en un rodaje contra Ishmael Ellis 14(0KO)-6(2); y el peso pluma Lowe 22(6KO)-2(2)-3 intentará seguir dejando atrás su dura derrota ante Nick Ball enfrentándose al español Jonathan Santana 9(1KO)-5(1)-1.
En el centro de eventos Campo Lago en San Jose, Costa Rica, el exretador mundial del peso mosca David Jiménez 12(9KO)-1 tratará de regresar a la senda del triunfo después de su ajustada y controvertida derrota ante Artem Dalakian peleando contra el peligroso mexicano Rosendo Guarnernos 20(10KO)-5(1)-2, que ha logrado tres victorias como visitante en sus cuatro últimas pugnas.

La cartelera que más atención recibirá en esta semana tendrá lugar en el Firelake Arena de Shawnee, Estados Unidos, televisada por ESPN, ya que en ella el excampeón mundial unificado australiano George Kambosos Jr. 20(10KO)-2, que viene de dos derrotas ante Haney, se enfrentará al británico Maxi Hughes 26(5KO)-5(2)-2, que busca su octavo triunfo consecutivo. Es decir, dos clasificados mundiales del peso ligero en situaciones muy diferentes chocarán tratando de obtener acceso a una muy importante pugna en la división.
En el respaldo, un peso ligero con mucha más proyección que Kambosos y Hughes, el plata olímpico estadounidense Keyshawn Davis 8(6KO)-0, intentará brillar en su mayor test hasta la fecha ante el belga Francesco Patera 28(10KO)-3, 9º WBO y 13º WBC, mientras que el peso wélter Giovani Santillán 30(16KO)-0, que está tardando mucho en alcanzar combates de calibre pese a estar invicto, afrontará otro rodaje más, esta vez ante el ecuatoriano Erick Boné 27(14KO)-6(1).
