Los prospectos Marques Valle, Darrelle Valsaint y De Von Williams arrollaron en el respaldo del Eranosyan-Valencia

El respaldo de la cartelera de ProBox de la pasada noche tuvo tres combates, pero estos duraron combinadamente sólo cuatro asaltos. Y es que los tres prospectos participantes en las pugnas arrollaron a su oposición. Empezando por el semifondo, el peso superwélter Marques Valle 9(7KO)-0 acabó en el primer asalto con Demarcus Layton 8(5KO)-5(4)-1.
En el comienzo Layton intentó intercambiar con Valle, que es muchos menos veloz pero mucho más resistente y potente que él. Así, Layton no tardó en ser dañado por un hook a la cabeza. Tras ello, Valle hostigó a su oponente persiguiéndolo por las cuerdas hasta que Layton recibió más de una decena de golpes sin respuesta y el árbitro paró el combate justo cuando intentaba responder con una derecha recta.
Antes de este choque se produjo una nueva pelea para el peso medio, olímpico por Haití, Darrelle Valsaint 8(6KO)-0, que finalmente no combatió contra Eric Moon sino contra el sustituto argentino Marcelo Fabián Bzowski 11(0KO)-22(3)-3. Aunque Bzowski es conocido por ser un púgil resistente, Valsaint ganó la pugna en el segundo round.
En un combate de zurdos, Valsaint tomó la iniciativa y aprovechó su ventaja en altura para imponer su jab y su uno-dos frente a un Bzowski que se movía por el ring girando hacia la derecha. El argentino intentó lanzar varias contraofensivas, pero los reflejos y la buena defensa de Valsaint anularon la posibilidad de que pudiese tener éxito. Alcanzado el segundo round, un uppercut de izquierda de Valsaint sorprendió y dañó a Bzowski, que poco después fue derribado por un gancho zurdo que le sacó el protector bucal. Bzowski no se alzó durante la cuenta del árbitro y el choque concluyó.
La cartelera se abrió con el más breve de los tres encuentros, ya que el peso superligero De Von Williams 2(2KO)-0 necesitó menos de un minuto para vencer a William Davis 1(1KO)-1(1).
A los 15 segundos de combate, Williams contragolpeó con un corto pero preciso cruzado de mano adelantada un ataque del zurdo Davis, que cayó a la lona. En la reanudación, William sacó combinaciones de curvos hasta que con nuevos hooks zurdos volvió a arrojar al tapiz a Davis, deteniendo el árbitro la contienda cuando todavía no habían transcurrido 40 segundos desde el comienzo.

The undercard of last night’s ProBox card had three bouts, but these lasted only four rounds combined, as the three prospects featured in the bouts steamrolled their opponents. Starting with the co-feature, super welterweight Marques Valle 9(7KO)-0 got rid of Demarcus Layton 8(5KO)-5(4)-1 in the first round.
In the beginning, Layton tried to exchange with Valle, who is much slower but much more resistant and powerful than him. Thus, soon Layton was hurt by a hook to the head. After that, Valle attacked his opponent chasing him around the ropes until Layton received more than a dozen unanswered punches and the referee stopped the fight just as the boxer tried to respond with a straight right hand.
Before this clash, middleweight, and Haitian Olympian, Darrelle Valsaint 8(6KO)-0 did not fight against Eric Moon but against Argentine late substitute Marcelo Fabián Bzowski 11(0KO)-22(3)-3. Although Bzowski is known for having a good chin, Valsaint won the fight in the second round.
In a fight between southpaws, Valsaint took the initiative and used his height advantage to impose his jab and his one-twos against Bzowski, who was moving around the ring counterclockwise. The Argentinian tried to launch several counterattacks, but Valsaint’s reflexes and good defense made it impossible for him to succeed. In the second round a left uppercut from Valsaint stunned and hurt Bzowski, who was dropped shortly thereafter by a left hook that knocked out his mouthguard. Bzowski did not get up during the referee’s count and thus the bout ended.
The card opened with the shortest of the three fights, as super lightweight De Von Williams needed 2(2KO)-0 less than a minute to defeat William Davis 1(1KO)-1(1).
Fifteen seconds into the fight, Williams countered with a short, but accurate, lead hook to the head an attack from the southpaw Davis, who fell to the canvas. After the restart, William threw combinations until, with a couple of left hooks, he dropped Davis again, the referee stopping the contest when not even 40 seconds had yet elapsed from the start.
