Una semana después de que PBC iniciase la temporada 2023 de las cuatro mayores compañías boxísticas mundiales, este sábado le llegará el turno a Top Rank. Esta empresa ofrecerá una velada que estará encabezada por dos enfrentamientos del peso pesado [+90,7 kg o +200 lb] desde el Turning Stone Resort & Casino de Verona, Estados Unidos.
Comenzando por el choque principal, Efe Ajagba detuvo la báscula en 106,7 kg (235¼ lb), 1,4 kg (3 lb) más que para su última pelea, mientras que Stephan Shaw pesó 108,6 kg (239½ lb), su cifra más alta desde diciembre de 2019.
Respecto al semifondo, Guido Vianello dio 108,4 kg (239 lb), una cifra casi idéntica a la de su combate ante Kingsley Ibeh (terminado en empate), mientras que Jonathan Rice detuvo la báscula en 124,4 kg (274¼ lb), cantidad más pesada que en su primera victoria ante Michael Polite Coffie y que en su derrota ante Ajaba pero 4,3 kg (9,5 lb) más ligera que para su último combate, su triunfo en revancha sobre Coffie.
Las mencionadas pugnas serán televisadas en Estados Unidos por ESPN, ESPN+ y ESPN Deportes desde las 22:00 ET/19:00 PT del sábado, las 4:00 de la madrugada del sábado al domingo en hora de España.

A week after PBC kicked off the 2023 season of the world’s four biggest boxing companies, this Saturday it will be Top Rank’s turn to start its campaign with an evening from the Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, United States, that will be headlined by two heavyweight clashes [+90.7 kg or +200 lb].
Starting with the main event, Efe Ajagba stopped the scales at 235¼ lb (106.7 kg), 3 lb (1.4 kg) more than for his last fight, while Stephan Shaw weighed in at 239½ lb (108.6 kg), his highest figure since December 2019.
Regarding the co-feature bout, Guido Vianello weighed 239 lb (108.4 kg), a figure almost identical to that of his fight against Kingsley Ibeh (ended in a draw), while Jonathan Rice tipped the scales at 274¼ lb (124.4 kg), a heavier amount than in his first win against Michael Polite Coffie and his loss to Ajaba but 9.5 lb (4.3 kg) lighter than for his last bout, his rematch win over Coffie.
The aforementioned fights will be televised in the United States by ESPN, ESPN+ and ESPN Deportes from 10:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. PT, while Sky Sports Arena will air the card in the United Kingdom from 1:00 a.m.
