Press release: Kerman Lejarraga and Chris Eubank Jr. sparred in Brighton

Press release

The preparations of Kerman Lejarraga and British number 1 middleweight, Chris Eubank Jr., have crossed paths in a useful way for both.

While the boxer from Morga, European champion in two different weights, began his sparring for his match on November 12 at the historic pavilion of La Casilla (Bilbao), the British star of the middle and super middleweight divisions carried out his last sparring sessions previous to the clash in which he will face the undefeated Conor Benn.

It will be a 12-round super welterweight fight in which the sons of two British boxing legends of all time will meet at the O2 Arena in Greenwich: Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank, protagonists of a great rivalry inside and outside of the ring that settled with world titles at stake.

Last week Lejarraga and Eubank Jr. traded leather at the gym. The fighter from Morga and his trainer, Ibon Larrinaga, traveled to Brighton, a seaside resort south of London and east of Southampton, where the British champion resides. The sparring sessions have been useful for both of them as they have been able to face high-level opponents.

The impressions have been positive for the two fighters. While Eubank is 4 days away from his fight, Lejarraga still has ahead a major part of a preparation that will be demanding. The results, against a rival that will be announced shortly, will be seen on November 12 in La Casilla, evening in which will also step in the ring, between others, former European champion, and pride of Otxarkoaga, Andoni Gago.

Tickets are on sale at Kutxabank.
