O’Shaquie Foster, Óscar Valdez y Archie Sharp emplazados a disputar mundial superpluma a continuación

Cuando un campeón unificado pierde sus cinturones o los deja vacantes, se crean inmediatamente huecos para que aspirantes que llevaban tiempo esperando su gran oportunidad accedan a la pelea titular. Este es el caso del estadounidense O’Shaquie Foster, número 1 WBC, y del británico Archie Sharp, número 1 WBO, quienes ahora que Stevenson ya no es dueño de los cinturones mundiales del peso superpluma de esos organismos, recibirán inmediatamente una oportunidad titular.
En cuanto a quiénes serán sus oponentes, a falta de que se actualice el ranking, tanto en el WBC como en la WBO el siguiente clasificado es Robson Conceiçao, quien teóricamente no podrá acceder a la pelea por los cinturones vacantes llegando de perder contra Shakur Stevenson. Si continuamos descendiendo en las listas, es 3º WBC y WBO el excampeón Óscar Valdez, quien tendrá que decidir ahora si prefiere medirse a Foster o a Sharp.
En caso de que Valdez elija enfrentarse a Sharp, Foster tendrá que medirse por el cinturón WBC al peligrosísimo pegador mexicano Eduardo “Rocky” Hernández. Por el contrario, si Valdez elige enfrentarse a Foster, Sharp tendrá que verse las caras con el australiano Liam Wilson.
Evidentemente, los organismos podrían terminar moviendo alguna posición a los boxeadores mencionados antes de emitir la orden de pelea mundialista, o algunos de los púgiles podrían no estar disponibles por uno u otro motivo, pero el hecho es que Foster, Sharp, Valdez, Hernández y Wilson deberán estar muy atentos ahora ante la posibilidad de una pelea mundialista que podría cambiar sus carreras.

When a unified champion loses his belts or vacates them, opportunities are immediately created for challengers who had long-awaited the title fight. This is the case of the American O’Shaquie Foster, number 1 WBC, and the British Archie Sharp, number 1 WBO, who now that Stevenson no longer owns the super featherweight belts of those organizations will immediately receive a championship fight.
As for who their opponents will be, in the absence of the rankings being updated, both in the WBC and in the WBO the next ranked boxer is Robson Conceiçao, who theoretically will not be able to enter the fight for the vacant belts after losing against Shakur Stevenson. The Brazilian is followed in the lists by former champion Óscar Valdez, 3rd WBC and WBO who will now have to decide between facing Foster or Sharp.
In the case that Valdez chooses to clash against Sharp, Foster will have to battle the very dangerous Mexican puncher Eduardo “Rocky” Hernández for the WBC belt. Conversely, if Valdez chooses to face Foster, Sharp will have to fight Australian Liam Wilson.
Obviously, the organizations could end up changing the positions of the mentioned boxers before ordering the world title bout, or some of the fighters could not be available for one reason or another, but the fact is that Foster, Sharp, Valdez, Hernández and Wilson will have to be ready to access to a world championship that could change their careers.
