Los pesos pesados Daniel Dubois y Trevor Bryan pelearán en Miami el 11 de junio

En los últimos años, con las veladas del promotor Don King no se han podido tener demasiadas certezas, dado que en bastantes ocasiones ha realizado totales desastres organizativos que han conllevado aplazamientos incesantes de peleas ordenadas, estancamientos de carreras, etc. Sin embargo, en lo concerniente al duelo entre los pesos pesados Daniel Dubois y Trevor Bryan, de momento todo ha funcionado de manera fluida.
Primeramente, para este choque ordenado por la WBA como parte de su proceso de reducción de titulares, Don King se impuso en la subasta con una puja de 3.116.001 $, superando al promotor Frank Warren por más de 600.000 $ (la propuesta de Warren fue de 2.503.000 $). Así se garantizaron unas más que respetables ganancias de 1.713.800 $ para el titular regular Bryan y de 1.402.200 $ para Dubois.
Con los derechos organizativos asegurados por King, la confirmación oficial y definitiva del duelo se ha hecho esperar un poco demasiado, pero esta finalmente se ha producido sin dejar los aspectos principales (fecha y sede) en el aire como en otras ocasiones: el día 11 de junio en el Casino Miami Jai-Alai de Miami, Estados Unidos, Dubois y Bryan chocarán guantes.
Es más, en una nota de prensa oficial incluso se ha informado ya de qué choques compondrán el respaldo. En el semifondo, el joven peso pesado estadounidense Dacaree Scott se enfrentará al último rival del propio Trevor Bryan, un Jonathan Guidry que perdió ante éste de forma cuestionable y ajustada y que, en definitiva, dejó una actuación meritoria.
Antes del Scott-Guidry se producirá un combate del peso crucero entre Johnnie Langston e Isaiah Thomas, mientras que el peso wélter Tre’Sean Wiggins se medirá a Travis Castellón. Finalmente, en la velada pugnará también el participante en las World Boxing Super Series Ryan Martin, que finalizará 14 meses de inactividad (desde su derrota ante Robert Easter) enfrentándose a un adversario que se anunciará próximamente.

In the recent years, it has been difficult to have certainties about the evenings of the promoter Don King, since on quite a few occasions he has made total organizational disasters that have led to incessant postponements of ordered fights, careers stalled, etc. However, regarding the duel between heavyweights Daniel Dubois and Trevor Bryan, everything has gone smoothly so far.
