Breve: Jaime Munguía renuncia a pelea por título interino WBO del peso medio ante Alimkhanuly. Ordenado Alimkhanuly-Dignum

Aunque se veía venir, para tener la certeza había que esperar a la confirmación oficial de la WBO, algo que se ha producido ya: el peso medio Jaime Munguía ha decidido renunciar a la pelea por el título interino WBO del peso medio ante el peligroso kazajo Zhanibek Alimkhanuly. Por ello, ahora el organismo ha ordenado un nuevo duelo por el mismo cinturón entre el citado Alimkhanuly y el británico Danny Dignum, que tendrán 10 días para alcanzar un acuerdo o se encaminarán a una subasta con pujas mínimas de 200.000 dólares. Entre otras cosas, la nota de la WBO señaló lo siguiente:
“La WBO le ha dado al equipo de Munguía suficiente tiempo para que procediese con el combate como se ordenó. Así, considerando su rechazo y falta de interés para pelear con Zhanibek Alimkhanuly, este Comité debe proceder a ordenar las negociaciones con el equipo de Danny Dignum”

Although it could be seen coming, to be certain we had to wait for the official confirmation from the WBO, something that has already happened: middleweight Jaime Munguía has decided to reject the fight for the interim WBO middleweight title against the dangerous Kazakh Zhanibek Alimkhanuly. For this reason, now the organization has ordered a new duel for the same belt between the aforementioned Alimkhanuly and the British Danny Dignum, who will have 10 days to reach an agreement or will go to an auction with minimum bids of 200,000 dollars. Among other things, the WBO noted:
“The WBO has granted Team Munguia enough time to proceed with the bout as ordered. Therefore, considering their refusal and lack of interest to fight Zhanibek Alimkhanuly, this Committee shall proceed to ordering negotiations with Team Danny Dignum».
