En las últimas horas se han producido una notable cantidad de noticias significativas respecto a combates que están muy cerca de confirmarse para esta primavera [hemisferio norte] y que contribuirán a dar forma a la temporada alta boxística. Uno de los cruces que están muy cerca de recibir una fecha oficial es la unificación de coronas del peso medio entre Gennadiy Golovkin y Ryota Murata. De hecho, el kazajo ya ha iniciado sus entrenamientos de cara a la pugna, que según ha informado se ha reubicado en el calendario para el mes de abril en Japón. Con todo, habrá que esperar unos días para conocer la fecha exacta y el recinto escogido.

Uno de ellos es el choque entre Óscar Rivas y Evgeny Romanov, pelea por el título “bridger” WBC para la que se ha alcanzado un acuerdo que ha suspendido la presentación de pujas, siendo tentativamente el mes de junio el escogido para el enfrentamiento. Además, a la misma vez que la IBF ha puesto fecha para una subasta para la eliminatoria del peso wélter entre Jaron Ennis y Custio Clayton, Mike Coppinger ha revelado que ambas partes han llegado a un acuerdo para el combate, que se producirá en los próximos meses.
