News in Brief: WBA orders heavyweight bouts Trevor Bryan vs. Daniel Dubois and Robert Helenius vs. Hughie Fury

Three days after the duel between Trevor Bryan and Jonathan Guidry, the WBA has decided to continue its process of reducing the titleholders in the heavyweight division. Thus, the body has ordered, on the one hand, a match between the aforementioned Bryan and Daniel Dubois (he had an «interim title» before these were suppressed in the Association), whom will have six months to face each other. On the other hand, the holder of the «Gold» belt and winner of an eliminator Robert Helenius and the fighter who follows him in the ranking, the former world challenger Hughie Fury, have also been ordered to face each other in a fight that must also take place before six months pass.

Taken into account the chaos in the heavyweight division with the multi-belt policy, it will be really complex and it will take a lot of work and patience to unravel the situation. Even so, at least the WBA is still delivering on what was promised and, despite its maximization of the profits, at least continues to march towards a single champion per division.
