Esta pelea titular será precedida por un choque sobre el peso ligero [61,2 kg o 135 lb] en el que Gary Cully, que detuvo la báscula en 62,3 kg (137,25 lb), se medirá a José Félix, que lidió bien con este descenso de categoría pesando lo mismo que su oponente, 62,3 kg (137,25 lb).
En cuanto al otro mundial femenino de este evento, que tendrá en juego el cinturón WBA del peso superwélter [69,9 kg o 154 lb], la monarca Terri Harper y la aspirante Cecilia Braekhus dieron cantidades válidas de 68,4 kg (150,8 lb) y 69,5 kg (153,3 lb) respectivamente.

There was no problem in the first of the two weigh-ins that will take place today for undisputed title fights, as both Katie Taylor and Chantelle Cameron weighed 63.4 kg (139.7 lb), that is, below the super lightweight limit [63.5 kg or 140 lb] for a bout that will have the four world titles of the division at stake.
