Después de innumerables cara a cara tras combates y en ruedas de prensa que sólo fueron sucedidos por varios aplazamientos de la fecha del evento, finalmente este viernes Claressa Shields, Savannah Marshall, Mikaela Mayer y Alycia Baumgardner estuvieron frente a frente en el pesaje previo a sus duelos de unificación.
En cuanto al combate estelar, pelea por la corona indiscutida del peso medio [72,6 kg o 160 lb], Claressa Shields y Savannah Marshall dieron el mismo peso idéntico, 72,3 kg (11 st 5 lb 5 oz), dejando posteriormente un careo tenso pero sin mayores incidencias.
Sin embargo, tras el pesaje de la unificación del peso superpluma [59,0 kg o 130 lb] entre Mikaela Mayer y Alycia Baumgardner ambas se dieron ciertos empujones y la primera incluso le lanzó una patada a su rival cuando estaban siendo separadas. En cuanto al peso de las púgiles, ambas dieron 58,7 kg (9 st 5 lb 5 oz).
Esta velada será emitida en España por Eurosport 2 desde las 20:30 del sábado, mientras que en Reino Unido la emitirá Sky Sports Main Event desde las 19:30 en hora local y en Estados Unidos ESPN+ desde las 14:30 ET/11:30 PT

After innumerable face-offs after fights and in press conferences that were only succeeded by several postponements of the date of the event, finally this Friday, Claressa Shields, Savannah Marshall, Mikaela Mayer and Alycia Baumgardner weighed-in prior to their unification matchups.
As for the main event, clash for the undisputed middleweight crown [72.6 kg or 160 lb], Claressa Shields and Savannah Marshall both weighed 72.3 kg (11 st 5 lb 5 oz), and later they had a tense face to face but without any incidents.
However, after the weigh-in for the super featherweight [59.0 kg or 130 lb] unification between Mikaela Mayer and Alycia Baumgardner, they both pushed each other a bit and the former even kicked her opponent when they were being separated. As for the weight of the fighters, both tipped the scale at 58.7 kg (9 st 5 lb 5 oz).
This evening will be broadcast in the United Kingdom by Sky Sports Main Event this Saturday from 7:30 p.m. local time, while in the United States will be aired by ESPN+ from 2:30 p.m. ET/11:30 a.m. PT
