Todo está listo ya para que el campeón mundial WBO del peso pluma [57,2 kg o 126 lb] Emanuel Navarrete exponga esta noche su cinturón ante Eduardo Báez en el Pechanga Arena de San Diego, Estados Unidos. Y es que ambos púgiles dieron una misma cantidad válida de 57,1 kg (125,8 lb), si bien Navarrete marcó esta cifra a la segunda y tras quitarse la ropa.
La cartelera principal estará compuesta por otros dos combates. Uno de ellos, con un margen sobre el peso wélter [66,7 kg o 147 lb], pondrá frente a frente a Giovani Santillán y Julio Luna, que pesaron ambos 66,9 kg (147,4 lb), mientras que el otro, acordado dentro del peso medio [72,6 kg o 160 lb], enfrentará a Nico Ali Walsh y Reyes Sánchez, que marcaron respectivamente 71,6 kg (157,8 lb) y 71,3 kg (157,2 lb).
En cuanto al respaldo inicial, en este tramo destacan el duelo pactado dos libras (900 gramos) por encima del peso superligero [63,5 kg o 140 lb] entre Lindolfo Delgado y Omar Aguilar, que pararon los dos la báscula en 64,4 kg (142 lb), y el choque dos libras (900 gramos) por encima del peso superpluma [59,0 kg o 130 lb] entre Xavier Martínez y Alejandro Guerrero, que pesaron 59,7 kg (131,6 lb) y 59,8 kg (131,8 lb).
Los tres choques principales serán televisados en Estados Unidos (y en otros países del continente americano) por ESPN, ESPN+ y ESPN Deportes a partir de las 22:00 ET/19:00 PT (las 4:00 en hora española), mientras que el respaldo inicial ESPN+ lo emitirá finalmente desde las 18:30 ET/15:30 PT (la 0:30 en España). En los países en los que no se puede acceder a una emisión de ESPN, parte de la velada se podrá ver a través de un PPV de Fite que se iniciará a las 2:00 en hora española.

In the United Kingdom Sky Sports Main Event will air part of the card from 2:00 a.m, while in other countries it could be watched through a Fite PPV.
