La emisión de este evento se iniciará con una pugna pactada tres libras (1,4 kg) por encima del peso ligero [61,2 kg o 135 lb] entre Frank Martin y el sustituto tardío Jackson Maríñez, quienes dieron cifras adecuadas al parar la báscula respectivamente en 62,4 kg (137,5 lb) y 62,6 kg (138 lb).
