La última vez que se enfrentaron (noviembre de 2021), el australiano Joel Camilleri 22(10KO)-8-1 fue derrotado por decisión dividida a manos de su compatriota Koen “Malicious” Mazoudier 10(4KO)-2(1). Pues bien en la revancha de este combate del peso superwélter, parte del respaldo del Briedis-Opetaia, de nuevo fue Mazoudier quien se impuso, otra vez por decisión dividida (98-92, 99-92 y 95-96).
Se veía que ambos tenían mucho empeño por lograr la victoria, pero a menudo se dejaron llevar por ello hacia un cierto desorden. En cualquier caso, Mazoudier se hizo con la iniciativa y tuvo una mayor cadencia de golpeo, lo que le sirvió para decantar contendidos rounds de su lado a través de buenos hooks. Camilleri trató de ajustar de varias maneras, pero aunque llegó con algunos buenos uppercuts y tuvo aciertos en varios intercambios, el trabajo de Mazoudier siguió siendo más continuado y eficaz. Así, desgastándose Camilleri en el último tramo y padeciendo un serio corte, Mazoudier terminó asegurándose la victoria.
Este combate fue precedido por un duelo femenino en el que la peso supermosca australiana Taylah Robertson 6(2KO)-1 venció a la venezolana Yoselín Fernández 11(5KO)-2(2) por KOT en el décimo round.
Fernández salió agresiva y lanzando combinaciones, pero muy pronto fue frenada por la técnica y la precisión de Robertson, que conectó nítidos directos diestros y ganchos zurdos a la contra antes de pasar al ataque. Con fuertes golpes de poder la hábil australiana sacudió constantemente la cabeza de su contrincante hasta que en el cuarto asalto Fernández estuvo en serios apuros. De todos modos, la visitante increíblemente resistió el brutal castigo y las continuas dificultades, e incluso eventualmente intentó volver al ataque, hasta que en el décimo asalto el árbitro se decidió al fin a parar el choque.
La emisión del evento comenzó con la pugna del peso pluma entre dos jóvenes púgiles como el local Dana “Deadly” Coolwell 8(6KO)-2 y el filipino Lorenz “Cerberus” Ladrada 11(3KO)-3(1)-1, siendo el primero quien logró una victoria por KO en el cuarto asalto con la que regresó a la senda del triunfo.
Con un firme y repetido jab Coolwell se hizo rápidamente con el control de la pugna ante un Ladrada que se desplazó cercano a las cuerdas buscando oportunidades para lanzar contras aisladas. Junto a su jab Coolwell fue añadiendo una creciente cantidad de derechas rectas, uppercuts, cruzados diestros, ganchos abajo, etc. con los que fue desgastando a su oponente. En el cuarto asalto Ladrada se tropezó a la vez que recibió una derecha y el árbitro contabilizó un knockdown, si bien posteriormente en ese mismo round el filipino recibió un hook de izquierda al hígado que le dejó tendido durante la cuenta completa.

In the rematch of this super welterweight bout, part of the Briedis-Opetaia undercard, again it was Mazoudier who prevailed by split decision (98-92, 99-92 and 95-96).
It was clear that both fighters were very determined to achieve victory, but they often got carried away with it into a certain disorder. In any case, Mazoudier took the initiative and had a higher punching rate, which helped him to win contested rounds through good hooks. Camilleri tried to adjust in various ways, but even though he landed some good uppercuts and had successes in several exchanges, Mazoudier’s work continued to be more consistent and effective. Thus, with Camilleri tiring in the last stretch and suffering a serious cut, Mazoudier ended up securing victory.
This fight was preceded by a duel in which the Australian super flyweight Taylah Robertson 6(2KO)-1 defeated the Venezuelan Yoselín Fernández 11(5KO)-2(2) by TKO in the tenth round.
Fernandez started aggressive and throwing combinations, but soon she was slowed down by the technique and precision of Robertson, who landed crisp straight right hands and left hooks countering before attacking. With hard power shots the skillful Australian constantly shook her opponent’s head until in the fourth round Fernandez was in serious trouble. Regardless, the visitor incredibly withstood the brutal punishment, and even eventually tried to put pressure, until in the tenth round the referee finally decided to stop the match.
The broadcast of the event began with a featherweight fight between two young fighters like the local Dana «Deadly» Coolwell 8(6KO)-2 and the Filipino Lorenz «Cerberus» Ladrada 11(3KO)-3(1)-1, being the former who achieved a victory by KO in the fourth round with which he returned to winning ways.
With a firm and repeated jab, Coolwell quickly took control of the fight against Ladrada, who moved close to the ropes looking for opportunities to launch isolated counters. Along with his jab, Coolwell added an increasing number of straight hands, uppercuts, right overhands, hooks down, etc. with which he was wearing down his opponent. In the fourth round Ladrada stumbled as he received a right hand and the referee scored a knockdown, although later in the same round the Filipino was hit by a left hook to the liver that left him lying for the full count.
