If there is a time when everything needs to be perfect, it is right before the biggest fight of a career, although in the case of George Kambosos Jr. this was not the case. At the official weigh-in, not even taking off his clothes he managed to make lightweight [61.2 kg or 135 lb] for his fight for the undisputed title, weighing 61.4 kg (135.36 lb). Thus, Kambosos needed the extra time to go down to the division limit, and not lose his belts on the scale, weighing 61.0 kg (134.49 lb). For his part, Devin Haney, who will finally have his trainer and father in his corner after a permit obtained by Bill Haney, weighed at the first try 61.2 kg (134.92 lb).

For the co-feature, bantamweight bout [53.5 kg or 118 lb], there were fewer complications, as Jason Moloney and Aston Palicte weighed 53.3 kg (117.6 lb) and 53.1 kg (117.1 lbs).

The main card will theoretically feature two more matches, both heavyweight [+90.7kg or +200lbs] fights. In one of them, Junior Fa, who weighed 121.7 kg (268.3 lb), will face Lucas Browne, who weighed 118.4 kg (261 lb), while in the other, Hemi Ahio, who stopped the scale at 115.9 kg (255.5 lb), will fight Christian Ndzie Tsoye, who weighed 116.2 kg (256.17 lb).

In the United States, the main card will be broadcast on ESPN from 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT, with the early undercard aired through ESPN+ from 7:30 pm ET/4:30 PT. In the United Kingdom the event will be televised by Sky Sports from 2:00 a.m.
