El evento del Lejarraga-Metcalf empezó de muy buena forma con el enfrentamiento del peso wélter entre Rikar Urrutia 5(0KO)-1 y Saúl Luna 7(1KO)-2, quien pese a llegar a la pelea como sustituto con poco tiempo de antelación logró la decisión de los jueces. Aunque se anunció un veredicto de decisión dividida, las cartulinas fueron de decisión mayoritaria: 57-57 y doble 58-56.
Luna comenzó ofreciendo ágiles desplazamientos a la vez que buscaba contragolpes certeros, destacando sus combinaciones de uppercut-gancho, logrando además en el primer asalto dejar tocado a su rival con un uppercut de mano adelantada. Sin embargo, Luna entonces impactó varios golpes en la nuca ante su tambaleante oponente que le supusieron una advertencia del árbitro y perder tiempo valioso. En los siguientes minutos Luna siguió impactando contras muy claras, pero hacia la mitad Urrutia comenzó una reacción.
Entrando con su mano diestra en directo al rostro y, sobre todo, trabajando bien al torso con sus ganchos, Urrutia comenzó a reducir la distancia en las puntuaciones a pesar de que su contrincante continuó llegando con alguna buena mano aislada. Así, con la pugna muy igualada se llegó a unos decisivos últimos rounds, en los que Urrutia pareció ofrecer más continuidad en su trabajo y Luna puños llamativos, siendo estos últimos los que decantaron a los jueces a pesar de que un eventual veredicto de victoria para Urrutia habría sido perfectamente justificable.
Esta pelea fue sucedida por un triunfo de la peso ligero británica Rhiannon Dixon 5(0KO)-0, que se anotó el mayor éxito de su carrera hasta la fecha batiendo por decisión unánime a la olímpica marroquí Mahjouba Oubtil 4(1KO)-1. Las tarjetas fueron de 60-52, 58-53 y 57-54.
El combate estuvo igualado hasta que la zurda Dixon comenzó a marcar la diferencia con sus golpes de poder, especialmente ganchos diestros, con los cuales primero estremeció a su rival en el segundo asalto y luego la derribó en el tercero.
El nada razonable descuento de un punto a Dixon por parte del árbitro en el tercer round impidió que la invicta pudiese sentenciar el combate en las cartulinas entonces, pero en adelante su gran hook de mano adelantada continuó marcando la diferencia pese a los acrecentados esfuerzos ofensivos que realizó Oubtil en el quinto round. Finalmente, la británica se anotó un knockdown más en el sexto episodio (con un curvo diestro a la parte trasera de la cabeza), si bien la pelea llegó al veredicto.

The Lejarraga-Metcalf event began in a very good way with the welterweight confrontation between Rikar Urrutia 5(0KO)-1 and Saúl Luna 7(1KO)-2, who despite coming to the fight as a late substitute achieved the victory. Although a split decision verdict was announced, the cards were of a majority decision: 57-57 and double 58-56.
Luna began boxing with agile movements while looking for accurate counterpunches, standing out his uppercut-hook combinations. With a lead uppercut, Luna hurt his opponent in the first round, although then he landed several blows to the back of the head that earned him a warning from the referee that made him waste time. In the following minutes Luna continued to connect very clear counters, but from the third round Urrutia began a reaction.
Attacking with his right hand to the face and, above all, working well to the body with hooks, Urrutia began to reduce the distance in the scorecards despite the fact that his opponent continued to land some good isolated punches. Thus, with the fight very even, the final rounds were decisive. In that stretch Urrutia seemed to offer more continuity in his work while Luna landed striking punches. That way, despite the fact that a victory for the undefeated would have been perfectly justifiable, the judges decided to give the win to Luna.

The fight was close until the southpaw Dixon began to make a difference with her power shots, especially right hooks, with which she first rocked her opponent in the second round and later dropped her in the third. The unreasonable deduction of a point to Dixon by the referee in the third round prevented her from securing the victory soon, but from then on her great lead hook continued to be the decisive punch despite the increased offensive efforts made by Oubtil in the fifth round. Finally, the Brit scored one more knockdown in the sixth round (with a right hook to the back of the head), although the fight reached the final bell.
