La velada encabezada por la revancha Kiko Martínez vs. Josh Warrington ya ha comenzado, siendo parte del respaldo principal la victoria por KOT en el décimo round del prometedor peso superligero británico Dalton Smith 10(8KO)-0 sobre el irlandés Ray Moylette 12(5KO)-2(1).
La posesión de la iniciativa la tuvo Moylette, pero no la eficacia, sino que Smith se movió ordenado por el ring sacando certeros jabs, explosivos hooks al cuerpo a la contra y certeros derechazos. Con estas acciones, y estando atento en defensa, Smith redujo los éxitos del tenaz Moylette y se anotó los asaltos de forma constante, mostrando gran solidez y solvencia. Además, pareció muy posible que terminase generando daños decisivos.
En el quinto round el visitante se vio movido por un uppercut diestro acompañado de hooks, y en adelante Smith decidió mantener la iniciativa (o al menos no alejarse del centro del ring) y escoger golpes de poder buscando una oportunidad para finalizar el duelo. De todos modos, Moylette aguantó los golpes rivales y terminó volviendo a presionar, perdiendo además en el séptimo round Smith dos puntos por un golpe antirreglamentariamente bajo. Aun así, la diferencia en destreza entre ambos púgiles era muy grande y el invicto continuó imponiendo su buen boxeo móvil y al contragolpe para ganar el resto de asaltos y encaminarse hacia la victoria por decisión. Con todo, finalmente no fueron necesarias las tarjetas, puesto que Smith se anotó dos knockdowns con cruzados zurdos en el último round que llevaron a Moylette a la derrota por KOT.

La emisión de DAZN de la cartelera principal se inició con el pésimamente emparejado enfrentamiento del peso pluma entre la olímpica australiana Skye Nicolson 2(0KO)-0 y la piedra de toque británica Bec “Lady Luck” Connolly 3(0KO)-12(3), que fue derrotada abrumadoramente a los puntos (juez-árbitro 60-54).
La zurda Skye no encontró ninguna dificultad en el combate, ya que pudo impactar con sencillez sus jabs de manera repetida, conectó abiertos curvos zurdos arriba y abajo y evitó las entradas de Connolly con convenientes pasos atrás. The evening headlined by the rematch Kiko Martínez vs. Josh Warrington has already started. As part of the main card, the promising British super lightweight Dalton Smith 10(8KO)-0 obtained a TKO win over Ireland’s Ray Moylette 12(5KO)-2(1) in the tenth round.
Moylette had the possession of the initiative, but not the efficiency, as Smith moved around the ring with order connecting accurate jabs, explosive hooks to the body and sharp right hands. With these actions, and being wary on defense, Smith reduced the successes of the tenacious Moylette and consistently won rounds, showing great solidity. Also, it seemed very possible that he would end up generating decisive damage.
In the fifth round the visitor was shook by a good uppercut linked with hooks, and from then on Smith decided to maintain the initiative (or at least not move away from the center of the ring) and choose power shots looking for an opportunity to end the duel. Anyway, Moylette withstood the rival’s punches and ended up pressing again, losing Smith two points in the seventh round for an illegally low blow. Even so, the difference in skill between the two fighters was too big, and the undefeated continued to impose his mobile boxing and his counterpunching to prevail in the rest of the rounds and head towards a decision victory. However, the scorecards finally weren’t necessary, as Smith scored two knockdowns with left hooks in the final round that led to Moylette’s TKO defeat.

DAZN’s broadcast of the main card kicked off with a complete mismatch, the featherweight bout between Australian Olympian Skye Nicolson 2(0KO)-0 and British Bec “Lady Luck” Connolly 3(0KO)-12(3), who was overwhelmingly defeated on points (judge-referee 60-54).
The southpaw Skye found no difficulty in the fight, as she was able to easily connect her jabs repeatedly, hit her rival with open left hooks up and down and avoid Connolly’s attacks with convenient step-backs. The underdog was a lot slower and she had a massive technical disadvantage, so beyond trying to resist and throwing punches to the air, she was completely neutralized by Skye. In fact, the undefeated even went so far as to stand still with her hands down within striking distance of her opponent without being in any danger, simply waiting for her moment to connect her sharp straight shots.
