Quizás, entre unos y otros asuntos que ocupan la actualidad boxística en estos momentos, muchos lo hayan olvidado, pero este domingo habrá una velada de Matchroom Boxing y DAZN desde el O2 Arena de Londres, Reino Unido. Este evento estará encabezado por un campeonato mundial WBO del peso crucero [90,7 kg o 200 lb] en el que se verán las caras el titular Lawrence Okolie, que pesó 90,4 kg (199,4 lb), y Michal Cieslak, que pesó 90,5 kg (199,6 lb).
En el semifondo tendrá lugar el debut profesional del oro olímpico Galal Yafai, que combatirá en el peso mosca [50,8 kg o 112 lb] contra Carlos Vado Bautista. Para este encuentro los púgiles pararon la báscula en cantidades respectivas de 50,6 kg (111,5 lb) y 49,8 kg (109,9 lb).
Antes de este choque tendrá lugar el campeonato de Europa del peso pluma [57,2 kg o 126 lb] entre el monarca Karim Guerfi y el retador Jordan Gill. Ninguno de los boxeadores sobrepasó el techo de la división, dando Guerfi 56,9 kg (125,4 lb) y Gill 57,2 kg (126 lb).
Estos tres enfrentamientos serán precedidos por otros tres que también estarán incluidos en la emisión de DAZN. Uno estará pactado a 164 lb (74,39 kg), o sea cuatro libras por encima del peso medio [72,6 kg o 160 lb], entre Anthony Fowler, que marcó 74,25 kg (163,7 lb), y Lukasz Maciec, que pesó 74,34 kg (163,9 lb); otro será en el peso pesado [+90,7 kg o +200 lb] entre Fabio Wardley y Daniel Martz, quienes dieron cantidades respectivas de 107,4 kg (236,7 lb) y de 120,7 kg (266,2 lb); y el restante será dos libras (900 gramos) por encima del peso ligero [61,2 kg o 135 lb] entre Campbell Hattion, que marcó 61,8 kg (136,2 lb), y Joe Ducker, que dio 62,1 kg (136,8 lb)

Perhaps, between all the issues that occupy the boxing news at the moment, many have forgotten it, but this Sunday there will be an evening of Matchroom Boxing and DAZN from the O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom. This event will be headlined by a WBO cruiserweight [90.7 kg or 200 lb] world championship between the titleholder Lawrence Okolie, who weighed 90.4 kg (199.4lbs), and Michal Cieslak, who weighed 90.5 kg (199.6 lb).
In the co-feature will take place the professional debut of Olympic gold medalist Galal Yafai, who will fight in the flyweight division [50.8 kg or 112 lb] against Carlos Vado Bautista. For this match the fighters stopped the scale respectively at 50.6 kg (111.5 lb) and 49.8 kg (109.9 lb).
