Dentro de un día el Alexandra Palace de Londres, Reino Unido, acogerá la primera velada del año 2022 en las Islas Británicas de Matchroom Boxing, evento en el que Daniel Jacobs y John Ryder disputarán una trascendental pugna para sus carreras en una eliminatoria WBA del peso supermedio [76,2 kg o 168 lb]. Para este combate Jacobs pesó 75,7 kg (166,9 lb) y Ryder marcó 75,8 kg (167 lb).
Según apuntan las informaciones oficiales de Matchroom, el semifondo será el combate del peso pesado [+90,7 kg o +200 lb] entre Johnny Fisher y Gabriel Enguema, pelea para la cual el primero de ambos contará con ventaja en peso, ya que dio en la báscula 107,5 kg (237 lb) por los 105,1 kg (231,7 lb) de su rival.
Teóricamente, ese encuentro será precedido por el que se producirá en el peso medio [72,6 kg o 160 lb] entre Felix Cash y Magomed Madiev, quienes dieron cifras respectivas de 72,4 kg (159,6 lb) y 72,2 kg (159,1 lb).
La cartelera principal emitida por DAZN contará con otros dos encuentros. Uno de ellos, en el peso supergallo [55,3 kg o 122 lb], pondrá frente a frente a Ellie Scotney, que dio 55,0 kg (121,2 lb), y a Jorgelina Guanini, que marcó 54,3 kg (119,6 lb). El otro, pactado por encima del peso medio [72,6 kg o 160 lb], será disputado por Austin Williams, que pesó 73,2 kg (161,4 lb), y Javier Maciel, que detuvo la romana en 76,0 kg (167,5 lb).
Fuera de la emisión de DAZN quedarán las pugnas de Ivan “Hopey” Price, que dio 56,7 kg (125 lb) para un combate acordado sobre el peso supergallo [55,3 kg o 122 lb] contra Ricardo Román, que dio 56,5 kg (124,6 lb); la pelea pactada por encima del peso wélter [66,7 kg o 147 lb] de Cyrus Pattinson contra Evgenii Vazem, quienes dieron cantidades de 68,1 kg (150,2 lb) y 68,4 kg (150,9 lb); y el segundo combate profesional para Shiloh Defreitas, que dio 65,1 kg (143,6 lb) para su pelea acordada cuatro libras por encima del peso superligero [63,5 kg o 140 lb] contra Alexey Tukhtarov, que marcó 65,0 kg (143,4 lb).

In a day the Alexandra Palace in London, United Kingdom, will be the venue for the first evening of 2022 in the British Isles of Matchroom Boxing, a card in which Daniel Jacobs and John Ryder will face each other in a crucial bout for their careers and a WBA super middleweight [76.2 kg or 168 lb] eliminator. For this match Jacobs weighed 75.7 kg (166.9 lb) and Ryder weighed 75.8 kg (167 lb).
According to official information from Matchroom, the undercard will be the heavyweight fight [+90.7 kg or +200 lb] between Johnny Fisher and Gabriel Enguema. In it Fisher will have a weight advantage, since he hit the scale at 107,5 kg (237 lb), 2,4 kg (5,3 lb) more than the 105,1 kg (231,7 lb) of his rival.

The other, agreed above middleweight [72.6 kg or 160 lb], will be between Austin Williams, who weighed 73.2 (161.4 lb), and Javier Maciel, who stopped the scale at 76.0 kg (167.5 lb).
Before the DAZN broadcast will take place the fights of Ivan «Hopey» Price, who weighed 56.7 kg (125 lb) for a match above super bantamweight [55.3 kg or 122 lb] against Ricardo Román, who weighed 56.5 kg (124.6 lb); a bout agreed above welterweight [66.7 kg o 147 lb] for Cyrus Pattinson against Evgenii Vazem, whom hit the scale at 68.1 kg (150.2 lb) and 68,4 kg (150.9 lb); and the second pro fight for Shiloh Defreitas, who weighed 65.1 kg (143.6 lb) for his match, four pounds above super lightweight limit [63.5 kg o 140 lb], against Alexey Tukhtarov, who weighed 65.0 kg (143.4 lb).
Starting at 7:00 p.m. in the UK and 2:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. PT, DAZN will broadcast the main card of this event.
