Continuing with the undercard of the Abdullaev-Linares bill, after the duel between Vadim Tukov and Joel Julio it was the turn of the Russian Vildan Minasov 7(4KO)-1 and the Kyrgyz Erzhan Turgumbekov 9(2KO)-3(2)-1. This lightweight confrontation ended with a result of TKO victory in the seventh round for Minasov.

Minasov relied on a high pace to try to neutralize his opponent on the ropes, but the strong Turgumbekov responded with power, so some tough exchanges took place. In them the speed of Minasov and the forcefulness of Turgumbekov contrasted, although, despite there were disputed and demanding rounds for both, the greater quantity of punches of the local favored that he could win most of the rounds. Also, as the minutes passed Turgumbekov seemed to get tired, so Minasov’s lead widened to the point that in the seventh round a barrage of punches knocked down Turgumbekov, who in the restart was hit until his corner threw the towel.

Also ended by TKO the heavyweight match between Russian Georgy Yunovidov 4(3KO)-0 and Argentine champion Leandro Daniel Robutti 8(5KO)-6(5), since the undefeated won the contest in the fifth round.

Initially the southpaw Robutti landed some good left hands, but Yunovidov adjusted, managed the distance better, began to avoid punches and landed two-one and one-two combinations. However, Robutti landed a right hand in the third round that surprised his opponent and knocked him down to the canvas. This was the best moment in the fight for the Argentine, who quickly got exhausted and was hit by straight punches on the ropes. Finally, beaten in the fifth round by hooks to the body, right uppercuts and straight shots, Robutti didn’t come out for the sixth round.

As for the Russian-Georgian light heavyweight, with great amateur career, Georgy Kushitashvili 2(2KO)-0, he won again by TKO in his second professional fight. His rival was the Nigerian Olarewaju Segun 9(8KO)-2(1), who succumbed after two rounds of punishment.

With explosive combinations of hooks and right hands to the head, Kushitashvili shook his opponent several times before dropping him in the first round. Segun finished the first three minutes very hurt, and in the second round he was hit by more combinations of hooks and straight punches until a new brutal right hand put him on the canvas, so the referee stopped the fight.
