Confirmada la cartelera principal del evento Anthony Joshua vs. Jermaine Franklin

A falta de algo menos de dos semanas para que se produzca el evento de Matchroom Boxing/DAZN encabezado por el combate del peso pesado Anthony Joshua vs. Jermaine Franklin, ahora la promotora ha confirmado qué duelos compondrán la cartelera principal.
Entre ellos se encuentra el ya anunciado campeonato de Europa del peso medio entre Mateo Signani y Felix Cash. Sin embargo, el enfrentamiento del peso semipesado entre Craig Richards y Ricards Bolotniks ha sido cancelado una vez más. En esta ocasión Richards, que también fue el causante del primer aplazamiento, ha alegado que está lesionado, así que un encuentro que debería haber tenido lugar en noviembre de 2022 podría terminar ubicándose en el segundo tercio del año 2023 como pronto.
Por otro lado, se han añadido al evento un duelo del peso pesado con claro favorito, pero con cierto interés, entre el campeón británico Fabio Wardley y el estadounidense Michael Polite Coffie, una pugna del peso medio en la que el estadounidense Austin Williams intentará enviar un mensaje al arriba citado Cash (al que se supone que se enfrentará en la segunda mitad del año) combatiendo contra el británico River Wilson-Bent y nuevas peleas a medida para el peso ligero Campbell Hatton y el peso semipesado John Hedges ante, respectivamente, Louis Fielding y Daniel Bocianski.
Es decir, la cartelera será claramente superior a las dos últimas ofrecidas por Matchroom Boxing (eso no es decir mucho, ya que las precedentes han sido realmente flojas), pero en ninguno de los combates hay un gran riesgo de que los favoritos sean derrotados si ofrecen sus mejores versiones.

With less than two weeks to go before the Matchroom Boxing/DAZN event headlined by the heavyweight bout Anthony Joshua vs. Jermaine Franklin, now the company has confirmed which fights will compose the main card.
Among them is the already announced European middleweight championship between Mateo Signani and Felix Cash. However, the light heavyweight matchup between Craig Richards and Ricards Bolotniks has once again been canceled. On this occasion Richards, who was also responsible of the first postponement, has claimed that he is injured, so a match that should have taken place in November 2022 could end up taking place in the second third of 2023 at the earliest.
On the other hand, the card will also have a heavyweight duel with a clear favorite, but with some interest, between British champion Fabio Wardley and American Michael Polite Coffie, a middleweight fight in which American Austin Williams will try to send a message to the aforementioned Cash (whom he is supposed to face in the second half of the year) fighting British River Wilson-Bent and new tailor-made matches for lightweight Campbell Hatton and light heavyweight John Hedges against, respectively, Louis Fielding and Daniel Bocianski.
That is to say, the card will be clearly superior to the last two offered by Matchroom Boxing (that is not saying much, since the previous ones have been really weak), but in none of the fights there is a great risk that the favorites will be defeated if they offer their best versions.
