El martes, RCC Boxing Promotions ofrecerá una macrovelada desde el Palacio de Juegos Deportivos “Uralochka” de Ekaterimburgo, Rusia, en la que participarán muchos de los miembros más destacados de dicha compañía, más algunos de otras promotoras, conformando un total de once combates. Estos choques estarán encabezados por una pelea de boxeo (¿de exhibición?) de los luchadores de MMA Magomed Ismailov e Ivan Shtyrkov.
Centrándonos en el tramo de boxeo profesional, en la cartelera destaca también la participación del peso ligero Zaur Abdullaev 16(10KO)-1, púgil en gran estado de forma y que, tras su única derrota ante Devin Haney, ha encadando cinco triunfos cada vez más impresionantes, destacando los obtenidos antes del límite ante Jorge Linares y Jovanni Straffon.
A la espera de que se le clasifique en el ranking WBA (este organismo ya ha incluído algunos púgiles residentes en Rusia en su última lista), Abdullaev se mantendrá activo enfrentándose al pegador panameño Ricardo “El Científico” Núñez 23(21KO)-4(2), que rebotó de su tropiezo ante “Tank” Davis noqueando a Alfredo Santiago y que en su última actuación superó las expectativas ante el insigne prospecto, y oro olímpico ruso, Albert Batyrgaziev. Dado que ante éste tuvo sus momentos, y con ello provocó ciertas críticas contra Batyrgaziev, Núñez ha vuelto a ser llamado para viajar a Rusia y poner a prueba a Abdullaev que, igualmente, será favorito para imponer sus sólidos uno-dos y hacerse con la victoria.
Incluso más interesante que esta pugna parece el campeonato de Rusia del peso pesado que disputarán Georgy Yunovidov 7(4KO)-0 y Arslan Yallyev 13(8KO)-0, dos invictos prospectos que han decidido correr el riesgo de medirse el uno al otro en un encuentro decisivo para impulsar sus trayectorias en lugar de engordar sus récords antes púgiles a medida. Sin duda, una pugna con claros alicientes y en la que se responderá a la pregunta de qué es más eficaz, si la técnica poco contundente de uno o la potencia bruta algo descontrolada del otro.
Además de dichas pugnas, se desarrollarán otros dos combates bien emparejados como el duelo del peso superpluma Mark Urvanov 22(10KO)-3-1 vs. Ruslan Kamilov 12(6KO)-1-1 y el choque del peso semipesado Vasily Voytsekhovsky 10(6KO)-0 y Dilmurod Satybaldiev 13(4KO)-3.
Respecto al primero de los choques, Urvanov ha evolucionado muchísimo y tiene opciones serias de derrotar a varios top 15, por lo que en principio debería poder imponerse a un Kamilov, preciso, muy capaz y que seguramente ofrezca asaltos disputados pero que parece estar algunos peldaños por debajo de él, especialmente tras su derrota ante Murad Aliev. En cuanto a la segunda de las peleas, teniendo en cuenta que el prospecto Voytsekhovsky tiene virtudes, pero está en desarrollo y viene de dos duros combates, y se medirá a un Satybaldiev correoso, más experimentado y que el año pasado sorprendió al exretador mundial Maxim Vlasov, este encuentro parece todo un acierto por parte de los matchmakers.
Con estos cuatro enfrentamientos habría más que suficiente para un muy buen evento, pero además en el cartel se subirán al ring varios prospectos insignes: el peso superligero Khariton Agrba 10(6KO)-0 se enfrentará al campeón nacional sudafricano Prince Dlomo 16(6KO)-11(3)-1, que noqueó al exranqueado Ndongeni y que en su última visita a Rusia aguantó diez rounds ante el púgil con buena carrera amateur Yauheni Dauhaliavets; el peso supermedio Pavel Silyagin 12(5KO)-0 se medirá al colombiano Leonard Carrillo 16(15KO)-4(2), que viene de dar la sorpresa noqueando a un invicto en Polonia; y el bronce olímpico Gleb Bakshi 2(2KO)-0 afrontará su tercer choque profesional contra el veterano venezolano Alfonso Blanco 17(9KO)-1(1).
Finalmente, entre otros combates, y aunque ya no haría falta añadirle más interés al evento, el peso pesado Evgeny Romanov 17(12KO)-0 y el peso superpluma Elnur Samedov 15(5KO)-1 disputarán rodajes. Romanov, más conocido por noquear a Deontay Wilder en época amateur, se enfrentará al excampeón de África y de Sudáfrica Chris Thompson 12(7KO)-3(2)-1, mientras que Samedov buscará recuperar moral tras sus problemas ante Moussa Gholam peleando contra el uzbeko Mirzamukhammad Khikmatullaev 8(5KO)-4(1).
Próximamente la promotora revelará cómo se emitirá la velada, pareciendo probable que sea ofrecida a través de las televisiones rusas Match Tv y Boets Tv.

On Tuesday, RCC Boxing Promotions will offer a major evening for Russian boxing from the Palace of Sporting Games “Uralochka” in Yekaterinburg, card in which practically all the most prominent members of said company will participate, plus some from other promoters, making up a total of eleven bouts. These clashes will be headlined by an (exhibition?) boxing match between MMA fighters Magomed Ismailov and Ivan Shtyrkov.
Focusing on the professional boxing part, the event will include the participation of lightweight Zaur Abdullaev 16(10KO)-1, a boxer in great shape and who, after his only defeat against Devin Haney, has stringed five increasingly impressive wins, highlighting those obtained by stoppage against Jorge Linares and Jovanni Straffon.

Even more interesting than this fight seems the Russian heavyweight championship between Georgy Yunovidov 7(4KO)-0 and Arslan Yallyev 13(8KO)-0, two undefeated prospects who have decided to take the risk of facing each other in a decisive matchup to boost their careers instead of filling their records with tailor-made fighters. Undoubtedly, it is an intriguing fight in which will be answered a question: what is more effective, the weak technique of the former or the somewhat uncontrolled brute power of the latter?
In addition to these fights, two other well-matched bouts will take place such as the super featherweight clash Mark Urvanov 22(10KO)-3-1 vs. Ruslan Kamilov 12(6KO)-1-1 and the light heavyweight duel Vasily Voytsekhovsky 10(6KO)-0 vs. Dilmurod Satybaldiev 13(4KO)-3.
Regarding the first of the fights, Urvanov has evolved a lot and has serious chances to defeat several top 15, so in principle he should be able to prevail over Kamilov, who is precise, very capable and will surely offer contested rounds but who seems to be some steps below him, especially after his loss to Murad Aliev. As for the second of the bouts, since the prospect Voytsekhovsky has virtues, but is in a development phase and comes from two tough fights, and he will battle a strong, more experienced boxer as Satybaldiev, who last year upset former world challenger Maxim Vlasov, this matchup seems a very good choice by the matchmakers.
With these four bouts, there would be more than enough for a good event, but in the card a few standout prospects will also step into the ring: super lightweight Khariton Agrba 10(6KO)-0 will face South African national champion Prince Dlomo 16(6KO)-11(3)-1, who knocked out former ranked fighter Ndongeni and who in his last visit to Russia went the distance with a fighter with a good amateur career as Yauheni Dauhaliavets; super middleweight Pavel Silyagin 12(5KO)-0 will face Colombian Leonard Carrillo 16(15KO)-4(2), who comes from an upset KO win over an undefeated boxer in Poland; and Olympic bronze medalist Gleb Bakshi 2(2KO)-0 will face his third professional bout against veteran Venezuelan Alfonso Blanco 17(9KO)-1(1).
Finally, among other fights, and although it would not be necessary to add more interest to the event, heavyweight Evgeny Romanov 17(12KO)-0 and super featherweight Elnur Samedov 15(5KO)-1 will face stay-busy fights. Romanov, best known for knocking out Deontay Wilder in the amateurs, will face former African and South African champion Chris Thompson 12(7KO)-3(2)-1, while Samedov will seek to recover morale after his difficulties against Moussa Gholam facing Uzbek Mirzamukhammad Khikmatullaev 8(5KO)-4(1).
The promoter will soon reveal how the evening will be broadcast, but it seems probable that it will be offered through the Russian television channels Match Tv and Boets Tv.
