Una vez más, un jueves será el día escogido por Golden Boy Promotions para una de sus carteleras menores retransmitidas por YouTube y DAZN desde el Fantasy Springs Casino de Indio, Estados Unidos. El combate estelar de este evento será un interesante cruce del peso supergallo entre los locales Manuel Flores y Jorge Chávez, en el cual el primero buscará continuar avanzando a paso firme (seis victorias antes del límite desde su única e inesperada derrota) y el segundo dar un vuelco a su carrera con un primer triunfo de notable calibre.
Por otro lado, en Mantua, Italia, Mohammed Graich y Damiano Falcinelli combatirán por el vacante cinturón de Italia del peso supwélter.
Viernes 25 de julio
En The Tabernacle en Atlanta, Estados Unidos, emitido por DAZN, el estadounidense Elijah Pierce, que viene en una racha de once triunfos, afrontará un ascenso al peso pluma peleando por un título menor WBO ante el exretador mundial filipino Michael Dasmariñas, que llega de ser batido por KOT en Japón. En el mismo cartel que el Pierce-Dasmariñas, la estadounidense Oshae Jones expondrá su corona mundial IBF del peso superwélter ante su compatriota Elia Carranza.
El viernes también tendrán lugar estos otros combates:
-En el Tropicana Hotel & Casino de Atlantic City, Estados Unidos, emitido por DAZN, el joven mexicano Andy Domínguez, 14º WBA del peso mosca que llega de tres ajustados triunfos y una derrota, combatirá por segunda vez a diez asaltos peleando por un título menor WBC del peso minimosca ante el veterano exretador mundial del peso mínimo Byron Rojas.
-En el Centro de Convenciones Olof Palme de Managua, Nicaragua, televisado por ESPN Knockout, el mexicano, 12º WBA y WBO del peso minimosca, Gustavo Pérez será muy claro favorito para vencer al local Kevin Vivas.
Sabado 26 de julio
El evento más importante de la semana será el que se producirá en el Madison Square Garden de Nueva York, Estados Unidos, emitido por ESPN. En él, el joven puertorriqueño Xander Zayas, que lleva cerca de seis años preparándose como profesional, afrontará al fin su primer campeonato mundial peleando por el vacante cinturón WBO del peso superwélter contra el pegador mexicano Jorge García Pérez. Éste llega a la pelea en un gran estado, con una racha de ocho triunfos seguidos, tres de ellos importantes éxitos contra pronóstico y como visitante, el último ante la insigne promesa Charles Conwell.
Respaldando al Zayas-García, el invicto estadounidense con gran carrera amateur Bruce Carrington buscará convertirse en retador obligatorio de Stephen Fulton combatiendo por el cinturón interino WBC del peso pluma ante el namibio Mateus Heita; el peso wélter dominicano Rohan Polanco, 7º WBO y 11º WBC, tendrá un buen test ante el capaz estadounidense Quinton Randall; el invicto dominicano Yan Carlos Santana hará frente al mayor combate de su carrera hasta la fecha peleando en el peso pluma con el exretador mundial mexicano Aarón Alameda; y el peso pesado uzbeko, doble oro olímpico, Bakhodir Jalolov disputará su segundo combate desde noviembre de 2023 peleando contra el italiano Gianmarco Cardillo.
Por otro lado, en el Little Ceasars Arena de Detroit, Estados Unidos, emitido por DAZN, se desarrollará otro campeonato indiscutido femenino carente de interés y que refleja el enorme abismo de nivel existente en muchas categorías del boxeo femenino: la campeona indiscutida del peso pesado, top 3 libra por libra y doble oro olímpica, Claressa Shields se enfrentará a la neozelandesa Lani Daniels, que es una novata con triunfos (y empates) ante jornaleras y una única victoria más o menos destacable por controvertida decisión como local… En otras palabras, Daniels recibe esta oportunidad al título indiscutido, como muchas otras, únicamente por ser una de las poquísimas boxeadoras activas en las divisiones más pesadas femeninas, no por méritos o capacidades.
En el respaldo, el excampeón mundial Tony Harrison pondrá fin a más de dos años de inactividad combatiendo en el peso medio contra el dominicano Edward Ulloa Díaz.
También por DAZN se emitirá una velada desde el Bournemouth International Centre de Bournemouth, Reino Unido, cartelera encabezada por el campeonato de Europa, británico y de la Commonwealth del peso superpluma entre el joven e invicto Ryan Garner, que aparece en el top 15 de tres organismos, y el veterano Reece Bellotti, que desde 2021 le ha dado un vuelco increíble a su carrera. Y es que Bellotti ha pasado de ser considerado por muchos casi un jornalero dentro del circuito de su país a coronarse campeón británico con la mejor racha de triunfos de su carrera, batiendo incluso a un par de invictos.
El combate estará acompañado por un intento de recuperación del peso crucero Ellis Zorro ante el invicto y joven pegador Aloys Youmbi y por un duelo de imbatidos en el peso superwélter entre Carl Fail y Amir Abubaker.
El sábado también tendrá estos otros enfrentamientos:
-En Richmond, Estados Unidos, el peso pesado Jerry Forrest intentará llevar a tres su cadena de triunfos venciendo a Junior Anthony Wright, boxeador con poco encaje y con varias malas derrotas pero que llega de la mayor victoria de su carrera, venciendo contra pronóstico a Cassius Chaney.
-En el Maryland Live Casino de Hanover, Estados Unidos, Immanuwel Aleem y Demond Nicholson disputarán en el peso semipesado una revancha del empate que tuvieron en 2016 en el peso medio.
-En el Kings Hall de Stoke-on-Trent, Reino Unido, Ben Vaughan y Bobby Dalton combatirán por el vacante cinturón de Inglaterra del peso wélter.

Thursday, July 24
Once again, Thursday will be the day chosen by Golden Boy Promotions for one of its minor cards broadcast on YouTube and DAZN from the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, United States. The main event of this show will be an interesting super bantamweight clash between locals Manuel Flores and Jorge Chávez, in which the former will seek to continue advancing steadily (six stoppage victories since his only and unexpected defeat) and the latter will aim to turn his career around with a first important win.
On the other hand, in Mantua, Italy, Mohammed Graich and Damiano Falcinelli will fight for the vacant Italian super welterweight title.
Friday, July 25
At The Tabernacle in Atlanta, United States, broadcast by DAZN, American Elijah Pierce, riding an eleven-fight winning streak, will move up to featherweight and fight for a minor WBO title against Filipino former world challenger Michael Dasmariñas, who is coming to the bout after being defeated by KO in Japan. On the same card, American Oshae Jones will defend her IBF world super welterweight crown against her compatriot Elia Carranza.
Friday will also feature these other fights:

Saturday, July 26
The most important event of the week will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York, United States, broadcast by ESPN. There, young Puerto Rican Xander Zayas, who has been preparing as a professional for nearly six years, will finally face his first world championship fight competing for the vacant WBO super welterweight belt against hard-hitting Mexican Jorge García Pérez. He enters the bout in great form, with an eight-fight winning streak, three of them impressive upset victories fighting away, the last against renowned prospect Charles Conwell.
Supporting this world title bout, undefeated American with a great amateur career Bruce Carrington will look to become mandatory challenger to Stephen Fulton by fighting for the interim WBC featherweight title against Namibian Mateus Heita; Dominican welterweight Rohan Polanco, WBO No.7 and WBC No.11, will face a solid test against capable American Quinton Randall; undefeated Dominican Yan Carlos Santana will take on the biggest fight of his career so far fighting at featherweight against Mexican former world challenger Aarón Alameda; and Uzbek heavyweight, double Olympic gold medalist, Bakhodir Jalolov will contest his second bout since November 2023 fighting Italian Gianmarco Cardillo.
Meanwhile, DAZN will broadcast from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, United States, another undisputed female championship that lacks interest and highlights the vast gap in quality in many women’s boxing divisions: undisputed heavyweight champion, top 3 pound-for-pound and double Olympic gold medalist Claressa Shields will face New Zealander Lani Daniels, who is a novice with wins (and draws) against journeymen and only one somewhat notable victory via controversial hometown decision… In other words, Daniels receives this undisputed title shot, like many others, solely for being one of the very few active boxers in the heavier female divisions, not due to merit or ability. On the undercard, former world champion Tony Harrison will end more than two years of inactivity fighting at middleweight against Dominican Edward Ulloa Díaz.
Also broadcast by DAZN will be a card from the Bournemouth International Centre in Bournemouth, United Kingdom, headlined by the European, British, and Commonwealth super featherweight championship between young and undefeated Ryan Garner, ranked in the top 15 by three sanctioning bodies, and veteran Reece Bellotti, who since 2021 has dramatically turned his career around. Bellotti has gone from being considered almost a journeyman on the domestic circuit to becoming British champion with the best winning streak of his career, even defeating a couple of unbeaten fighters.
The bout will be supported by cruiserweight Ellis Zorro’s attempt to bounce back against young and undefeated puncher Aloys Youmbi, and by a clash between unbeaten super welterweights Carl Fail and Amir Abubaker.
