En el Korakuen Hall de Tokio, Japón, el peso mosca Kenji Noda, que llega en la mejor racha de su carrera, afrontará un buen test ante el experimentado zurdo Daiki Kameyama, que se ha medido a boxeadores como Shokichi Iwata o Riku Kano.
Miércoles 16 de julio
En el Qudos Bank Arena de Sydney, Australia, se producirá una velada en la que varios púgiles que llegan de una derrota buscarán regresar a la senda del triunfo en fáciles combates. Uno de ellos es el bronce olímpico David Nyika, que tras ser derrotado en el mundial del peso crucero ante Jai Opetaia en enero se medirá a Nikolas Charalampous, al que debería poder vencer con gran solvencia. Para quien le interese el peso puente, un posible futuro retador al título WBC, Kris Terzievski, se medirá a Troy Pilcher en este mismo evento.
Jueves 17 de julio
En el Teatro Las Vegas Madrid de Madrid, España, se producirá una velada ligada a la convención WBA Europa, siendo el combate estelar el que enfrentará al sólido peso superpluma Moussa Gholam (10º WBA cuya única derrota fue un robo) y el joven argentino Maximiliano Jesús Verón. Además, el dos veces oro olímpico cubano Arlen López se enfrentará en el peso semipesado al veterano mexicano Paul Valenzuela y el invicto peso medio alemán Bujar Tahiri, tras medirse sólo a rivales de nivel muy bajo, dará un paso adelante en aumento de dificultad peleando contra el fogueado argentino Jonathan Wilson Sánchez.
Viernes 18 de julio
El viernes no combatirá ningún boxeador de calibre y habrá un limitado nivel medio. Quizás, el evento con combates potencialmente más disputados será el que se producirá en el Centro de Entrenamiento Atheyna Bylon de Ciudad de Panamá, Panamá, emitido por COS. En este cartel, el invicto peso wélter nicaragüense Harvin Aguirre afrontará quizás su mayor reto hasta la fecha ante el mexicano Alexis “Halcón” Ríos, que perdió por decisión dividida ante el prospecto Lázaro Lorenzana. Además, la panameña Nataly Delgado, en racha de ocho triunfos, buscará la mayor victoria de su carrera ante la excampeona mundial mexicana Maribel “Pantera” Ramírez.
Por lo demás, el viernes tendrá estos otros combates:
-En Ascoli Piceno, Italia, emitido por YouTube, Eros Seghetti y Aleksander Ramo combatirán por el cinturón de campeón de Italia del peso semipesado.
-En el Boxing Club de Río Gallegos, Argentina, emitido por ESPN Knockout, Marcelo Gabriel Sánchez y Nicolas Ezequiel Jara pugnarán por el vacante cinto de Argentina del peso wélter.
-En el Pechanga Resort & Casino de Temécula, Estados Unidos, tras su empate ante Jesús Saracho, el peso wélter Louie López buscará un triunfo claro que le devuelva moral ante el veterano, sin poner a prueba, Adrián Vargas.
-En el Caribe Royale Orlando de Orlando, Estados Unidos, emitido por DAZN, el invicto peso pesado armenio Gurgen Hovhannisyan buscará aplastar a un Chris Thomas mucho más pequeño y sin experiencia de calidad.
Sábado 19 de julio
No hay cinturón más prestigioso en la historia del boxeo que la corona de campeón indiscutido del peso pesado, título por el que pelearán el sábado el futuro miembro del Salón de la Fama, y grande de todos los tiempos del peso crucero y pesado, Oleksandr Usyk y el joven pegador Daniel Dubois. Este encuentro, que se producirá en el estadio de Wembley de Londres, Reino Unido, emitido por DAZN, será una revancha de un combate ganado por Usyk (KO en el noveno round) en 2023. Algunos consideran que, gane quien gane, esta pelea podría marcar una nueva etapa en la división, pero incluso si no es así, es una pelea que ningún aficionado se debería perder.
En el respaldo de este encuentro, el excampeón mundial del peso crucero Lawrence Okolie se medirá en el peso pesado al sudafricano Kevin Lerena (que tiene un positivo en control antidopaje a sus espaldas), el invicto peso pesado ucraniano Vladyslav Sirenko pugnará contra el británico Solomon Dacres y el prospecto ucraniano del peso semipesado Daniel Lapin peleará con otro púgil imbatido como el campeón británico y de la Commonwealth Lewis Edmondson.
También será emitida por DAZN la velada desde el Ford Center at The Star de Frisco, Estados Unidos, en la que tendrá lugar una unificación de coronas WBC-WBO del peso supermosca entre dos invictos, el estadounidense Jesse Rodríguez y el sudafricano Phumelela Cafu. Sin esperar al resultado del sábado, hace unos días ya se anunció que en noviembre Rodríguez se medirá en una triple unificación a Fernando Martínez, por lo que, si la pelea ante Cafu está ajustada y va a las cartulinas, parce inevitable que se levante el brazo del estadounidense…
También en el evento Rodríguez-Cafu, el estadounidense Austin Williams y el italiano Etinosa Oliha combatirán en una eliminatoria IBF del peso medio; el número 1 WBO del peso supermedio Diego Pacheco aguardará que se abran oportunidades titulares en la división, y comparará su rendimiento al de Caleb Plant, peleando con Trevor McCumby (otro boxeador con un positivo en control antidopaje); y Arturo Popoca y Dominique Crowder se enfrentarán en un duelo de invictos peso gallo.
Finalmente, en el MGM Grand de Las Vegas, Estados Unidos, emitido a través de un PPV de Amazon Prime Video, tendrá lugar el retorno de Manny Pacquiao ante el campeón WBC del peso wélter Mario Barrios, regreso que nunca debería haberse producido. Y es que entraña evidentes riesgos para la salud de un veteranísimo con 72 combates y casi cuatro años de inactividad volver para medirse a un titular que, pese a ser mediocre, es 16 años más joven y está mucho más rodado.
Acompañando al Pacquiao-Barrios en la cartelera principal, el campeón mundial WBC del peso superwélter Sebastian Fundora y el exmonarca Tim Tszyu combatirán en una revancha del choque que sostuvieron en marzo de 2024 (Fundora, decisión dividida), los peso superligero Isaac Cruz y Ángel Fierro volverán a medirse después de que el primero venciese un contendido duelo entre ambos en febrero, y el excampeón mundial Brandon Figueroa y el exretador mundial Joet González se verán las caras en un decisivo cruce de caminos dentro del peso pluma.
El sábado también contará con estos otros combates:
-En el SNP-Dome de Heidelberg, Alemania, el invicto alemán Simon Zachenhuber, 12º WBO, y el también imbatido namibio Paulinus Ndjolonimu, 4º WBO, se enfrentarán en un duelo de clasificados mundiales del peso supermedio.
-En el Gran Canaria Arena de Las Palmas, España, el local Aramis Torres y el italiano Joel Santos buscarán situarse a las puertas de la disputa del campeonato de Europa del peso mosca.
-En Chula Vista, Estados Unidos, el imbatido peso medio Lázaro Lorenzana buscará ingresar en el top 15 WBC peleando por un título menor contra el argentino Brian Agustín Arregui, que llega de anotarse una victoria contra pronóstico en Estados Unidos.

At Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan, flyweight Kenji Noda, currently riding the best streak of his career, will face a solid test against seasoned southpaw Daiki Kameyama, who has fought boxers such as Shokichi Iwata and Riku Kano.
Wednesday, July 16
At Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, there will be a card featuring several fighters coming off a loss who are looking to get back to winning ways in what should be relatively easy matchups. Among them is Olympic bronze medalist David Nyika, who was defeated in January in a cruiserweight world championship bout against Jai Opetaia. He’ll be taking on Nikolas Charalampous, whom he’s expected to beat comfortably. For those interested in the bridgerweight division, a potential future WBC title challenger, Kris Terzievski, will face Troy Pilcher on the same card.
Thursday, July 17
At Teatro Las Vegas Madrid in Madrid, Spain, a card will be held as part of the WBA Europe convention. The main event will feature solid super featherweight Moussa Gholam (ranked 10th WBA, whose only loss was a robbery) against young Argentine Maximiliano Jesús Verón. Also, Cuban two-time Olympic gold medalist Arlen López will fight veteran Mexican Paul Valenzuela at light heavyweight, and German middleweight Bujar Tahiri, undefeated but previously only matched against very low-level opponents, will take a step up in difficulty against Argentine Jonathan Wilson Sánchez.

No major name will fight on Friday, and the overall level will be modest. Possibly the most competitive event will be held at the Centro de Entrenamiento Atheyna Bylon in Panama City, Panama, and broadcast by COS. On this card, undefeated Nicaraguan welterweight Harvin Aguirre will perhaps face his toughest challenge yet against Mexican Alexis “Halcón” Ríos, who lost by split decision to prospect Lázaro Lorenzana. Additionally, Panamanian Nataly Delgado, riding an eight-fight win streak, will pursue the biggest win of her career against Mexican former world champion Maribel “Pantera” Ramírez.
In addition, Friday will feature the following bouts:
-In Ascoli Piceno, Italy, broadcast by YouTube, Eros Seghetti and Aleksander Ramo will fight for the Italian light heavyweight belt.

There’s no title more prestigious in boxing history than the undisputed heavyweight crown, which will be contested on Saturday between future Hall of Famer and all-time great at cruiserweight and heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk and young puncher Daniel Dubois. The bout, held at Wembley Stadium in London and broadcast by DAZN PPV, is a rematch of their 2023 fight, which Usyk won by knockout in round nine. Some believe that, regardless of who wins, this fight could signal a new era for the division—but even if it doesn’t, it’s a bout no fan should miss
On the undercard of the event, former cruiserweight world champion Lawrence Okolie will face South African heavyweight Kevin Lerena (who previously tested positive for a banned substance); Unbeaten Ukrainian heavyweight Vladyslav Sirenko will battle British fighter Solomon Dacres; and Ukrainian light heavyweight prospect Daniel Lapin will square off against another undefeated fighter, British and Commonwealth champion Lewis Edmondson.
The event at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, United States, will also be broadcast on DAZN and will feature a WBC-WBO super flyweight unification bout between two undefeated fighters—American Jesse Rodríguez and South African Phumelela Cafu. Without waiting for Saturday’s outcome, it was announced a few days ago that Rodríguez will face Fernando Martínez in a triple unification fight in November, so if the clash against Cafu is close and goes to the scorecards, it seems inevitable the American’s hand will be raised…
Also on the Rodríguez-Cafu card, American Austin Williams and Italian Etinosa Oliha will square off in an IBF middleweight eliminator; WBO number one super middleweight contender Diego Pacheco will wait for title opportunities to open up in the division, and compare his performance to Caleb Plant’s, by facing Trevor McCumby (another fighter who previously tested positive for a banned substance); and Arturo Popoca and Dominique Crowder will meet in a battle of undefeated bantamweights.
Finally, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, United States, broadcast via Amazon Prime Video pay-per-view, Manny Pacquiao will return to the ring to face WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios—a comeback that should never have happened. It presents clear health risks for a veteran with 72 bouts under his belt, and nearly four years of inactivity, stepping back in against a titleholder who, although being mediocre, is 16 years younger and considerably more active.
Also featured on the main card, WBC super welterweight world champion Sebastian Fundora will take on former titleholder Tim Tszyu in a rematch of their March 2024 clash (won by Fundora via split decision); super lightweights Isaac Cruz and Ángel Fierro will meet again after Cruz edged out the first fight in February; and former world champion Brandon Figueroa will face former world title challenger Joet González in a featherweight crossroads bout.
Saturday will also feature the following matchups:
-At the SNP-Dome in Heidelberg, Germany, undefeated German Simon Zachenhuber, ranked 12th by the WBO, will face fellow unbeaten Namibian Paulinus Ndjolonimu, ranked 4th by the WBO, in a clash of world-ranked super middleweights.
-At the Gran Canaria Arena in Las Palmas, Spain, local fighter Aramis Torres and Italian Joel Santos will battle to position themselves on the doorstep of a fight for the European flyweight title.
-In Chula Vista, USA, unbeaten middleweight Lázaro Lorenzana will look to break into the WBC’s top 15 by fighting for a minor title against Argentine Brian Agustín Arregui, who recently scored an upset win on American soil.
