Martes 10 de junio
El veterano peso superligero japonés Daishi Nagata intentará llevar a siete su racha de victorias, y escalar algunos peldaños en el ranking WBO, en el que es 15º, enfrentándose al coreano Joo Young Kim, que no pierde un combate desde 2017 y que afronta la que es, de lejos, la mayor pelea de su carrera hasta la fecha.
Jueves 12 de junio
Gabriel Flores Jr. era considerado un prometedor púgil hasta que derrotas ante “Venado” López y Giovanni Cabrera, sumadas a un cuestionado triunfo sobre Abraham Montoya, precipitaron su salida de Top Rank y pusieron en duda su potencial. Cinco triunfos después, Flores, de 25 años, es 3º WBA del peso ligero y está a las puertas de una nueva oportunidad relevante, antes de la cual disputará un rodaje ante el mexicano, sin experiencia de calidad, Christian Villalba.
Viernes 13 de junio
El viernes destaca el evento argentino, emitido por TyC Sports, en el que el oro olímpico Erislandy Álvarez y el bronce olímpico Lázaro Álvarez seguirán adelante con sus carreras profesionales. Estos púgiles cubanos serán abrumadores favoritos para vencer, respectivamente, al brasileño Eduardo Costa Do Nascimento en el peso superpluma y al colombiano José Muñoz en el peso ligero.
Por lo demás, del viernes se pueden mencionar estos otros combates:
-El joven peso superligero estadounidense Branden Pizarro, 13º WBA, disputará su tercer combate pactado a diez rounds ante su compatriota Israel Mercado, que sólo ha sido derrotado (y por decisión) por el insigne prospecto Movladdin Biyarslanov.
-El británico Ohara Davies, que tras sus derrotas ante Barroso y Azim está en una posición crítica, buscará regresar a la senda del triunfo ante el tanzano Mohamed Aliseni en una velada emitida por DAZN desde Ghana en la que varios boxeadores con cierto nivel afrontarán peleas, sobre el papel, demasiado asequibles.
Sábado 14 de junio
En la semana se producirá un único campeonato mundial, siendo éste el que sostendrán por la corona IBF del peso superligero el campeón estadounidense Richardson Hitchins y el excampeón australiano George Kambosos Jr. Después de haber sido controlado y roto por Lomachenko, de haber ganado con mucha controversia a Maxi Hughes y de sus dos abrumadoras derrotas por decisión ante Haney, las posibilidades de Kambosos ante un púgil técnico, hábil, defensivo, con alcance y veloz parecen realmente bajas, más allá de la escasísima probabilidad de un golpe inesperado decisivo.
En el respaldo, el insigne prospecto cubano, oro olímpico, Andy Cruz afrontará un paso adelante en aumento de dificultad en forma de una eliminatoria final IBF del peso ligero ante el campeón de Japón Hironori Mishiro. Además, el joven pegador del peso superligero Ernesto Mercado buscará un nuevo knockout ante Jonathan Montrel y el peso pesado canadiense Alexis Barriere se medirá al estadounidense Roney Hines en un duelo de invictos.
Manny Pacquiao y Donnie Nietes no son los únicos grandes campeones filipinos que se niegan a retirarse, ya que Nonito Donaire pondrá fin a dos años de inactividad para pelear en Argentina contra el chileno Andrés Campos en un choque del peso gallo. Evidentemente, Donaire tiene en mente planes más ambiciosos a continuación, lo que después de 25 años de llevarse golpes en la cabeza es simplemente una estupidez, aunque no tan grave como la de su compatriota “PacMan”.
En el mismo cartel, las argentinas Micaela Luján y Ayelén Granadino se enfrentarán en un bien emparejado duelo del peso mosca y el peso superpluma argentino Enzo Delgado se enfrentará al también invicto dominicano Félix Batista San Juan.
Estos otros combates también se producirán el sábado:
-En México, emitido por TV Azteca, el veterano excampeón Juan Francisco “El Gallo” Estrada intentará regresar a la senda del triunfo tras un año de inactividad peleando en el peso gallo contra Karim Arce. En el mismo evento, la peso átomo Camila Zamorano, de 17 años, se medirá a una excampeona mundial 24 años mayor que ella como Mika Iwakawa.
-En Francia, el 12º WBO del peso superwélter Milan Prat se verá las caras contra el mexicano Oziel Santoyo, mientras que Michel Soro se medirá en el peso medio a otro mexicano, a Asís Rodríguez.
-En España, el peso superligero Jon Fernández intentará llevar a cuatro su racha de triunfos enfrentándose al veterano panameño Ricardo Núñez, que viene en una racha de tres victorias también. En el respaldo Saúl Luna y Ander Amatriain se medirán por el cinto de España del peso superligero y en el combate que cerrará una trilogía.
-En Rusia, emitido por YouTube, el bronce mundial Vsevolod Shumkov disputará su tercer combate profesional peleando en el peso superpluma contra el modesto nigeriano Rilwan Lawal.
-En Estados Unidos, el olímpico dominicano Rodrigo Marte combatirá contra el fogueado y resistente puertorriqueño Edwin Rodríguez.
-En Alemania, el peso supermedio Simon Zachenhuber, top 15 en dos organismos mundiales, disputará su segundo combate del año, en esta ocasión contra Leonardo Di Stefano.

Tuesday, June 10
Veteran Japanese super lightweight Daishi Nagata will attempt to extend his winning streak to seven, and climb a few positions in the WBO ranking (he currently is number 15), clashing against Korean Joo Young Kim, who hasn’t lost a bout since 2017 and faces, by far, the biggest fight of his career to date.
Thursday, June 12
American Gabriel Flores Jr. was considered a promising fighter until losses to «Venado» López and Giovanni Cabrera, coupled with a controversial win over Abraham Montoya, precipitated his exit from Top Rank’s stable and cast doubt on his potential. Five wins later, Flores is ranked third in the WBA lightweight division and is on the verge of a new significant opportunity, before which he will have a stay busy bout against Mexican Christian Villalba, a fighter without quality experience.
Friday, June 13
Friday’s best card will take place in Argentina, broadcast by TyC Sports. In it Olympic gold medalist Erislandy Álvarez and Olympic bronze medalist Lázaro Álvarez, from Cuba, will continue their professional runs in bouts in which they will be overwhelming favorites to defeat, respectively, Brazilian Eduardo Costa Do Nascimento in the super featherweight division and Colombian José Muñoz in the lightweight division.
These other fights can also be mentioned:
-Young American super lightweight Branden Pizarro, ranked number 13 in the WBA list, will have his third ten-rounder against fellow American Israel Mercado, who has only been defeated (by decision) by standout prospect Movladdin Biyarslanov.
-British Ohara Davies, who is in a critical position after his losses to Barroso and Azim, will look to return to winning ways against Tanzanian Mohamed Aliseni in an evening broadcast by DAZN from Ghana in which several boxers of a certain level will face matches that, on paper, seem way too easy.
Saturday, June 14
This week there will be only one world championship bout: the one between American titlist Richardson Hitchins and Australian former champion George Kambosos Jr. for the IBF super lightweight crown. After being dominated and stopped by Lomachenko, obtaining a controversial win over Maxi Hughes, and suffering two landslide decision losses to Haney, Kambosos’ chances against a skilled, defensive and fast fighter with long range appear very low, beyond the very slim probability of a decisive unexpected punch.
In the undercard, standout Cuban prospect and Olympic gold medalist Andy Cruz will face a step up in competition in the form of an IBF lightweight eliminator against Japanese national champion Hironori Mishiro. Additionally, young super lightweight Ernesto Mercado will seek another knockout against Jonathan Montrel, and Canadian heavyweight Alexis Barriere will face American Roney Hines in a duel of unbeaten fighters.
Manny Pacquiao and Donnie Nietes aren’t the only great Filipino champions refusing to retire, as Nonito Donaire will end a two-year layoff to fight Chilean Andrés Campos in a bantamweight clash that will take place in Argentina. Evidently, Donaire has bigger plans next, which after 25 years of taking blows to the head is simply stupid, although not as serious as the case of his compatriot «PacMan.»
On the same card, Argentinians Micaela Luján and Ayelén Granadino will face off in a well-matched flyweight duel, and Argentinian super featherweight Enzo Delgado will face also undefeated Dominican Félix Batista San Juan.

-In Mexico, broadcast on TV Azteca, veteran former champion Juan Francisco «El Gallo» Estrada will try to return to winning ways after a year of inactivity fighting at bantamweight against Karim Arce. In the same event, 17-year-old atomweight Camila Zamorano will face a former world champion 24 years her senior, Mika Iwakawa.
-In France, WBO number 12 super welterweight Milan Prat will face Mexican Oziel Santoyo, while Michel Soro will clash against another Mexican, Asís Rodríguez, in a middleweight contest.
-In Spain, super lightweight Jon Fernández will try to extend his winning streak to four by facing Panamanian veteran Ricardo Núñez, who is also on a three-fight winning streak. In the undercard, Saúl Luna and Ander Amatriain will face each other for the Spanish super lightweight belt in the fight that will close out a trilogy.
-In Russia, broadcast on YouTube, world bronze medalist Vsevolod Shumkov will have his third professional bout fighting at super featherweight against low-level Nigerian Rilwan Lawal.
-In the United States, Dominican Olympian Rodrigo Marte will square off against the seasoned and resilient Puerto Rican Edwin Rodríguez.
-In Germany, super middleweight Simon Zachenhuber, top 15 in two world organizations, will face his second fight of the year, this time against Leonardo Di Stefano.
