Un día después de que Premier Boxing Champions anunciase la cartelera principal de su evento del 11 de febrero, ahora le ha tocado el turno a la velada que organizará el día 25 de febrero en The Armory en Minneapolis, Estados Unidos. Esta finalmente no estará encabezada por la revancha Brandon Figueroa vs. Stephen Fulton en el peso pluma, y el primero tampoco se medirá a Mark Magasyo, sino que tendrá como cabeza de cartel el mundial por el vacante cinturón IBF del peso superligero entre el puertorriqueño Subriel Matías y el argentino Jeremías Ponce.
Este choque entre dos agresivos boxeadores seguramente será emocionante y entretenido y además de él saldrá un peligroso campeón mundial que podría estar emplazado a una unificación posteriormente ante su compañero de escuadra, y monarca WBA, Alberto Puello.
Por otro lado, también participará un argentino en el choque coestelar de la noche, ya que Alberto Palmetta, tras lograr una racha de 12 victorias, afrontará una prueba de fuego peleando en el peso wélter ante el estadounidense Jamal James, que busca regresar a la senda de la victoria tras su tropiezo ante el fortísimo Radzhab Butaev.
La cartelera televisada se iniciará con un enfrentamiento del peso superligero en el que el dominicano Elvis Rodríguez disputará su tercer combate en veladas de PBC (desde su salida de Top Rank) enfrentándose al estadounidense Joseph Adorno, que tras un empate ante Jamaine Ortiz (2021) y una derrota ante Michel Rivera (2022) encarará otra pelea decisiva en la que buscar acceder a las clasificaciones.

One day after Premier Boxing Champions announced the main card of its event on February 11, now it has been confirmed the evening that the promotional conglomerate will organize on February 25 at The Armory in Minneapolis, United States. Finally, this card will not be headlined by Brandon Figueroa vs. Stephen Fulton rematch, and the former will not face Mark Magasyo either, since the main event will be the world championship for the vacant IBF super lightweight belt between Puerto Rican Subriel Matías and Argentine Jeremías Ponce.
This clash between two aggressive boxers will surely be exciting and entertaining and, in addition, from it will emerge a dangerous world titlist who could be set for a unification later this year against his squadmate, and WBA monarch, Alberto Puello.
