De todas las veces en las que se han encontrado los púgiles británicos Chris Eubank Jr. y Liam Smith antes de su duelo, sólo una vez han coincidido en algo: en el peso oficial. Y es que, tras varios cruces de palabras muy caldeados, sobre la báscula ambos pesaron la misma cantidad idéntica, 72,1 kg (11 st 5 lb), para este combate del peso medio [72,6 kg o 160 lb], así que todo está listo para que zanjen su disputa sobre el ring mañana en el Manchester Arena.
La pugna coestelar se desarrollará en el peso crucero [90,7 kg o 200 lb] entre Richard Riakporhe y Krzysztof Glowacki, que marcaron en la báscula respectivamente 90,4 kg (14 st 3 lb 5 oz) y 89,5 kg (14 st 1 lb 5 oz).
Este duelo será precedido por el campeonato británico y de la Commonwealth del peso wélter [66,7 kg o 147 lb], en el que se verán las caras el titular Ekow Essuman, que marcó 66,2 kg (10 st 6 lb), y el aspirante Chris Kongo, que dio 66,4 kg (10 st 6 lb 5 oz).
Las otras dos peleas de la cartelera principal serán dos combates del peso pesado [+90,7 kg o +200 lb]. Para uno de ellos el exmonarca mundial Joseph Parker, que detuvo la romana en 111,3 kg (17 st 7 lb 5 oz), se enfrentará a Jack Massey, que en su debut en el peso pesado marcó sólo 96,8 kg (15 st 3 lb 5 oz). Para el otro, el bronce olímpico Frazer Clarke dio 123,4 kg (19 st 6 lb 1 oz) y su rival Kevin Nicolás Espíndola pesó 129,3 kg (20 st 5 lb 1 oz).
La cartelera del Eubank-Smith será emitida en las Islas Británicas a través de un PPV de Sky (19,95£) que comenzará a las 18:00 en hora británica, mientras que en España la retransmitirá Proximia desde las 19:00 y en otros países del mundo la ofrecerá DAZN desde las 13:00 ET/10:00 PT.

Of all the times British fighters Chris Eubank Jr. and Liam Smith have met before their fight, only once they have had a point in common, and that is their official weight. After several very heated exchanges of words, on the scale both weighed the same identical amount, 72.1 kg (11 st 5 lb), for this middleweight bout [72.6 kg or 160 lb], so everything is ready for them to settle their dispute on the ring tomorrow at the Manchester Arena.
The co-main event will be a cruiserweight fight [90.7 kg or 200 lb] between Richard Riakporhe and Krzysztof Glowacki, who respectively checked in at 90.4 kg (14 st 3 lb 5 oz) and at 89.5 kg (14 st st 1 lb 5 oz).
