Para esta pugna, Taylor pesó 61,1 kg (134,6 lb) y Carabajal marcó 60,9 kg (134,2 lb)
También quedaron listos para su eliminatoria IBF y campeonato de Europa del peso pluma [57,2 kg o 126 lb] Jordan Gill y Kiko Martínez, quienes dieron cantidades respectivas de 57,1 kg (125,8 lb) y 56,6 kg (124,8 lb).
Antes de este combate se producirá el duelo del peso pesado [+90,7 kg +200 lb] entre Johnny Fisher y Dominik Musil. El primero marcó 105,9 kg (233,4 lb) y el segundo dio 119,2 kg (262,7 lb).
En el respaldo principal se desarrollarán además el campeonato de Europa del peso supergallo [55,3 kg o 122 lb] entre Mary Romero y Ellie Scotney, que pesaron 54,7 kg (120,5 lb) y 55,1 kg (121,5 lb), y el combate con un margen por encima del peso ligero [61,2 kg o 135 lb] entre Gary Cully y Jaouad Belmehdi, quienes pararon la báscula en 61,6 kg (135,8 lb) y 61,8 kg (136,3 lb).
